I cant believe Apple would steal these units.. And now Apple is better hahaha, please Nokia is the king of phones and Apple is some petty new ghetto company whos trying to steal their way in. Apple sucks, period.

this juvenile rant is getting tiresome. there is an awful lot of bashing and trolling going on around here. Why should i buy products from a company that pays employees to engage in these types of behaviors.
anybody has any real information
1) how is this playing out in other regions (European Union, china, etc)
2) how much are other cell phone companies paying (per handset)
3) how long is the licensing fees last (17 yr patent rights or ...)

It's about the mentality of nokia puppets easily changing their minds as soon as nokia changes their approach, lol. I still could care less for mms after the update. I've only used it twice since my iphone had it. They could disable it tomorrow and I could care less.

Where was the almighty brand in terms of mobile technology when Motorola first made its DynaTAC phone?
What phones was the almighty brand making when Motorola introduced its first touchscreen phone...A6188? How about A1000 back in 2005? It took the almighty brand 4 years after Motorola to make its first 3G touchscreen phone? You call such being "innovative"?
How about the micro-USB port? Who made that first phone with micro-USB port? Moto with its V8/V9? And now the almighty brand "claims" it wants to "set the standard" by introducing micro-USB port on its phones in 2009? (but then maybe the almigty brand didn't pay the patent for "charging via USB" to Moto...)
