people have to understand why it took nokia so long cause court dates don't happen over night they need to be looked in and the procedures to have that done take months before the court date is release for both parties and then the jury and the lawyers ,defendants....ect

Wow. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I guess just like nokia fans, nokia themselves couldn't control their envy & hate towards the iphone's success. They can't beat the iphone, so now they're looking for other ways to fight it. Big foul for nokia. What a bitter loser :)

I am really curious how this will proceed in European Union. I don't see much hope for a non-european company refusing to pay a european company to pay licensing fees that the rest of the mobile phone industry accepts.
It looks like were headed towards the iPHONE being a Black market item in most of the World. Just like the original iPHONE 2G has been. It certainly cuts down on warantee costs.

Am I the only one disappointed in Nokia. Apple and Palm have the better UI. Maemo is just another N97 like disappointment. I only hope for Apple to release a slide phone with a physical keyboard, and I'm gonna tell nokia goodbye for good. Nokia should buy palm asap.
