Hippico, 26 Apr 2015I don't think any one will replace his Rolex or Omega for a wearable gadgetYou and the right minded wouldnt want to replace a chronograph for this device. But hey its still the first of its kind/brand and maybe in time its going to catch up with the quality of rolex or philip patek. It might not happen with this generation or maybe this lifetime but still their is a possibility it would happen.

Apple has released three new ads for Apple Watch and they really nailed it.
Iphone my friend, 24 Apr 2015My friend has a father who is a millionaire so he told me he'll place his order as soon as pos... moreYup this is what separates the people with money to blow and those who want to appear like they have money to blow.
Here in China I see so many locals blow 1~2 months salary for a iPhone6 but it will be interesting to see how many will commit to buying an Apple Watch. I think only those really with money will follow-thru.
Everyone has an iPhone6 already, the new status symbol will be to have the watch to match.
Finally they start taking the orders. So now all the Apple donors can start donating their hard earned money to Apple, the wait is over after 7 months and they will get a useless token of appreciation after 2 more months.
The appal watch iss so beautiful. I wish that, i have 1 pcs to wearing when i join party orr picnic. Frankly speaking that, it is to exxpensive for mine.
I can see it but can not buy it.
My friend has a father who is a millionaire so he told me he'll place his order as soon as possible. Apple Watch is strictly for people who have lots of money, not those who pretend to have money. These watches looks cute, though.
Do not forget to buy the Metal belt version for only extra 800$.
And also if we base the statement that you had into account the device would have had an IPx57 rating and should have that rating instead. If it was proven to be reliable to be used by the consumers.
Apple probably made 6 and decided to put it on sale knowing that it will backtrack and make people want it more
AnonD-1825, 24 Apr 2015"Under the IPX7 designation, the Apple Watch will be able to withstand immersion in water... moreWait what?? NO you have that understanding in reverse.IPX6## is the clear certification that the device can endure the a minimum of 1 meter submerged for 30 minutes with the addition an extended dust and shock profing rating it 6 means that the device's internals are safe from moisture damage from low temperatures which is the usual reason a devices part's would fail without the water literally going inside it.7 is lesser it only approves that the device is dust and shock prof not literally giving the approval that it can endure direct water/moisture contact let along withstanding 30 minutes in 1 meter fresh water.
AnonD-1825, 24 Apr 2015"Under the IPX7 designation, the Apple Watch will be able to withstand immersion in water... moreI want to be able to swim, and not worry. So, still not good enough. Plus, barely a days use of battery. I'll probably just wait until the new Al-Ion battery.
Fugliest thing I've seen in the last century.
joe sHmoe, 24 Apr 2015Apple terms and conditions binded for the product is still the same my friend also the same go... more"Under the IPX7 designation, the Apple Watch will be able to withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. This means that a session in the shower, getting caught in the rain, or washing your hands will not cause damage, but prolonged exposure — such as swimming — would be harmful.
Apple says that users "can, for example, wear and use Apple Watch during exercise, in the rain, and while washing [their] hands, but submerging Apple Watch is not recommended." The water resistance rating applies equally to each model of the watch. "
