It's true we were able to make clone working sim cards so that you can use their balance & call/text anyone using their phone numbers.
The great thing about collecting these old Nokia bricks is you can buy a nasty smoked-on 1100 and just replace the outer housing Fascia, making it look brand new.

I use Nokia N8, N79, 5320 and 1280. Nokia 1280 is a good replacement to Nokia 1100 and 1108.
Always liked Sony Ericsson and their walkman phones, different designs and form factor, alas they did not last ... and my current phone is Nokia 105, it'll last for many years, i just hope some company will keep making "dumbphones".
My first ever cell phone ( first cell phone for whole family) was 1100. But it was robbed by labour 2 years back. My mum used that phone for 7 years. She loved that phone very much and still speaks about that phone when her present phone irritate her
