I'm typing from my Xperia SP and it's a great phone. It's good to hear about what seem to be the successor.
I do have a few insights of how the successor should be, in my preferences:
1) It is rumoured here that it'll equip the controversial SD801 (heating issues forces the CPU to throttle down making full speed impossible on prolonged use). Well I'm used a power user, I use up my phone's battery from top to bottom several times daily (which is why I loved the 2300mAH battery on my SP, it was big at the time, for this screen size), I've made my SP run at really high temperatures (45°+ C)so I would like to see the successor to equip SD820 or any lesser CPU that comes after that so it wouldn't overheat as easily. Besides, using SD810 would be expensive, unlikely for a mid-range smartphone.
2) The top end from the front I THINK needs MORE BEZEL, at least equals the one on the bottom end, so when hold in landscape mode playing games wouldn't as easy to accidentally tap the edges and also muffle those gorgeous Z-series style dual front facing speakers.
3) Expandable Memory (through microSD cards, ideally class10, 64-256GB or more) is a MUST!!
4) With a phone THAT thick I think Sony should consider making the ginormous 4000+mAh battery USER-REPLACABLE. There's two options, the usual removable back cover (matte/polycarbonate, just not glossy Plz), or if the back's not removable (Z-series style's dual glass?! How cool is that!) have an equally ginormous flap, or should I say compartment door/hatch on one of the sides. Just slide in a fresh, fully charged battery from the side.

Sony Xperia P was a beautiful phone but it had a terrible OS. Probably I won't buy a Sony phone anymore, because the knew about all the problems and didn't do anything to solve them.

That's about as little as that 5.5in Sharp phone which has 81% bezel size. As long as this has good specs (QSD 620, please) this could be my next phone.

It limits itself to 1.4GHz after a few minutes, then down again to as low as 1GHz if you keep running it. Even at its full 2GHz, the 810 can't beat Samsung's E7, and when it runs hot, even the 808 can beat it.

Which of the two will have their screens crack the easiest? By easiest I mean, without even putting force on them- they just crack by themselves.
