Does anyone know if the P series are waterproof ?
Definitely like this phone, hope outdoor visibility is good but most of Sony phones lacking in this.

Xperia is the coolest phone there is, all i wanted was a better processor and gpu and they delivered, now its the perfect device for remote play and android games with the dualshock 4. Its almost stock android which is best and AMOLED 2K screens are cool but i can settle for lcd and its benefits of a slimmer/lighter device and better battery life. Sony aims perfectly at its target demographic which is people with a ps4, that love gaming and going to the pool, jacoozi or taking a bath everyday. As far as people complaining about the design? Dont fix what is not broken, Sonys name is awesome and so is the design from an artistic point of view, the sleek subtle designs, logo and accessories to accent the phones qualities (gaming mount, magnetic charger for maintaining ip68). It sells great in Japan but not here...marketing is bad out here, i sell phones for verizon and my manager gets mad when i sell the phone because it doesnt gain good gross profit for retailers and other employees dont sell it because sony offers no incentives. samsung goes out the door like crazy because the employee pay checks go up with cash spiffs and better gross profit. we hate selling apple because theres no gross profit and no cash spiffs but at least there is crazy accessories all over the store to help our pay checks.
SONY I LOVE YOUR PHONES AND I SELL THEM FOR PERSONAL REASONS BUT PLEASE FIX YOUR MARKETING IN AMERICA, OFFER MORE GP TO STORES AND INCENTIVES TO EMPLOYEES TO SELL THEM AND YOU WILL SEE THE CHANGE!!!
ps when its slow i play on my game mount and show off the ds4 with modern combat 5 and it sells its self, too bad i have to defill the phone cause theres never any in stock!

all we need is a phone with good battery and performance..
good looks does not mean it has to be super thin :-/

Everyone keeps mentioning that the P2 is a return to the design of the P and so on, but you all forget that the Xperia S was in fact the first Xperia Flagship to have that design and was released three months before the P.

too good to see such a beautiful design, Sony always, ALWAYS produced great phones, even with "Google's" ugly Android with beautiful U.I
But what we really want is an operating system from Sony. An OS of their own.
We have seen Play Station OS, it is great. NOW SONY, WHY DON'T YOU MAKE AN OS OF YOUR OWN RATHER THAN DEPENDING ON ANDROID?

Guys never talk bad things about sony.. I'm using sony models from 2011 and never had a single problem with, even if i had means sony makes it is easy to get away with problem. Not a single phones that is running andriod OS can beat sony and sony designs. So 1st know how to use phone then buy it. U all guys SUCK who hates it....

S810 still better than exynos7 in live performance...
And heats only 5 degrees more than exynos7
Thats about 40c for exynos and 45c for s810....
And s810 still runs the benchmark faster...
So you can join the samsungs rant, or actually choose the better performer that S810 is ;-)

Based on the leaked specs, it threatened to wipe the floor with the competition what with 3000 mAh battery (massive at the time) & 20.7MP 1/2.3" sensor.
How did that turn out?
Not only its battery life underdelivered & its camera gave subpar results, but also it came with big size plus extra bezels and then some.
Sony better not to mess this one up.
