I have been using BB Z10 till 2015, working so better compared to other
I have had blackberry phones since 2005 please make a phone like the Z30 and leap but better and a little larger ... blackberry for life..
I can't wait for the Venice, I have been biding time with what I think is the best size pocket phone ever, the Blackberry Torch. Anything close to an updated Torch would have my vote.
I am a BB fan. Now using a BB Classic.
Please make a sleeker (thinner, lighter) and faster BB Classic
Hey Blackberry.... please PLEASE hurry up and release the new slider phone!!! Use to have one, love my Q10 but really would like the new slider if its running on Q10 platform!
for slider not look attractive phone better to make high end full touch screen for new feacher look like old model
Lex, 14 May 2015Wheres the main keys ( call / end, BB, and return ? They tried this with passport - It does no... moreAbsolutely spot on - we need KEYBOARD + TOOLBELT(inc trackpad) + LARGE SCREEN.
It seems such a no-brainer - combining best options for both input and output - why does it take them so long to get it ???
It's frustrating - but I will still upgrade to the slider from my Classic to get the bigger screen....
(NB At least they have put the number keys back on the physical keyboard - the solution of touchscreen numbers instead on the Passport was a really annoying backstep)
Acch, BlackBerry how long do we have to wait till you give us our ideal phone ??!!
We want KEYBOARD + TRACKPAD (1000% more efficient/accurate than inaccurate finger-touch navigation) + LARGE SCREEN.
For Pete's sake !!!! Why leave out the trackpad on the new slider phone ?? It's not rocket science what we need !! Give us KEYBOARD, TRACKPAD + LARGE SCREEN ! That will be THE UNMATCHED productivity device - Come on Blackberry, why do you make us wait years for this device !!!!
Will buy the new slider in the meantime as a stepping stone hopefully...
Wheres the main keys ( call / end, BB, and return ? They tried this with passport - It does not work.
BB needs to come up with a larger torch model with the latest hw specs / OS or screen if it wants to compete
Team blackberry for life! The venice device depicts class!! I believe its launch will put blackberry back on top with the bosses of intelligent devices!! I can't wait to have one! I hope it's made available before September 2015 because that's how long I can wait!!
Kangal, 04 May 2015I love physical keyboards, but won't get a Blackberry. Why? Its because the phone is in port... moreHave you heard of the BlackBerry Passport? Its keyboard is about as wide as it gets.
I love physical keyboards, but won't get a Blackberry.
Its because the phone is in portrait mode. The keys get squished and my fat thumbs get no justice. If the device was a landscape model, in the same form-factor of the Nokia N97... I would be all over it.
I would actually prefer something from Blackberry like the SONY Z3 (5.2in display, front speakers) with OtherHalf concept by Jolla. So the keyboard can be attached and removed at one's desire to be more portable or productive.
And it would allow having multiple language removable keyboards !!!
Personally, I'm more excited about the new BlackBerry devices. Call me outdated, but I prefer BlackBerry over other smartphones...
AnonD-240452, 30 Apr 2015Why are there people still complaining about physical keyboards? Can you people shove this up ... moreYeah there are people willing to use phys keyboards. like the 0.01% blackberry is targeting.
i totally agree. physical keyboards(especially from BBRY) are amazingly productive
Why are there people still complaining about physical keyboards? Can you people shove this up your narrow-minded heads: There are people who prefer to use physical keyboards!!!!!
If you don't use physical keyboards then just don't get phones that come with it and then just shut up!
St, 27 Apr 2015When there is a big display so what is the use of keyboard??Asking why there is a need for a physical keyboard on a phone if it has a large display is similar to asking why have a keyboard for a desktop computer when you have a mouse. In both cases, an on-screen keyboard is clumsy and slow to anyone who types quickly.
A physical keyboard allows for physical feedback, allows for entering text without looking at the screen. If the goal is to enter text, what better tool than a keyboard? Text recognition will work flawlessly as soon as automatic language translation does.
