I really think Apple products are very good and very nice, even if they are more expensive than other brands. But I don't buy Apple stuff because I hate it when any tech company tries to lock me in, for example: I can't buy an Apple Watch because I don't have an iPhone; I don't want to buy everything through iTunes, and I don't want to pay more for everything else, like non standard accessories.

Years ago IBM and others use to lock all their big clients in. If a company bought an IBM system they couldn't upgrade machines or switch to another supplier like HP without incurring tremendous cost to port their customized apps over to the new systems. Unix became popular in the 80's because it allowed users to switch between different Unix suppliers and systems and port their apps. Microsoft also gave the business world an alternative to IBM, and affordable computing for consumers. IBM's grip on the IT business was finally broken.

Unix, and open source Linux (free) make the Internet work, and in the beginning the internet was free and open... but since then, Apple, Google, Facebook and others have been working overtime to create walled gardens around their ecosystems to lock customers in, and exclude users on competing platforms.
The existence of mobile apps is a monumental scam: whatever site you can access for free on any desktop browser, should also accessible on any mobile device/browser. But because the first iPhones were so small, mobile apps were invented to view content that could not be viewed properly on the phone's mobile browser. So instead of making websites mobile friendly for all, they created a very profitable app industry for themselves. You should not be forced to abandon a brand you like because your app store does not have the banking app you need, you should be able to do your banking on the mobile browser. The BlackBerry Passport has a very wide screen that makes the browser very useable and allows you to have an alternative to apps.
So people, think about it, don't help tech giants kill the internet.

I don't know how iPhone users blindly buy iPhone. IPhone6 and galaxy S6 are both copy of old Lumia 925 design.
But then also Lumia 925 built quality is better than iPhone and galaxy S6.

apple makes almost 100 time better phone than any android- see the childish UI in android - not professional at all. Plus Samsung adds only useless features only for show off. Hence anyone with little brain will go for iPhone not highly priced android phones. E-mail- telephony- texting - viewing - camera - music - security - user friendly UI - everything is better in iPhone.
Only thing about android is users are hopeless, idiot & unnecessarily shouts.
