Its probably fake news. There must be wrong information like it could be 8mp front camera. Man, an average computer holds just 4gb, & 8 gb definitely costs more. Even if they try to have a 8gb ram it will never fit (I didn't meant the big one in pc ), or the chip will get too much overheated. And by the way who needs more than 3gb RAM in smartphones. Definitely & very bad idea :V I am sick with it
sam, 30 Apr 2015I think you need a doctor.Sam I was making fun of this fake news.
Brynn, 30 Apr 2015Lets say this is real 8gb ram etc ,,,the phone is yet again crippled by poxy 32gb storage. It... moreEven LG G4 has a huge spec issue - SD 808 with Adreno 418 for QHD display. Had LG employed FHD display, it would not have been a deal breaker. But for QHD display, it can be called a "spec mismatch", so it is definitely a deal breaker.
My only question is how much will such an insane beast cost? if it's anyhow more than $100 or less than the S6, M9 and other flagships, it might just be this year's spec-based flagship killer. Goddamn ZTE, no mercy huh?
Lets say this is real 8gb ram etc ,,,the phone is yet again crippled by poxy 32gb storage. It seems every smartphone by law must have either 1 poor spec or 1 poor hardware feature. The only real winner this year for me "so far" is the LG G4 and I never thought I would be saying that,,although the NEXUS 4/5 AND LG G3 were very good.
sam, 30 Apr 2015I think you need a doctor. There is some word called "sarcasm" in english. You may need to understand the meaning of it, before commenting in forums.
The ZTE NUBIA Z9's specs are enough to make any phone geek go wild with 8gb ram and a 3.5ghz chipset dwarfs any phone on the market today I'll be quite impressed if this alleged claims are true. And forward a pre-order immediately
It's making sense, will wait for this before I get an S6 it might win me from Samsung after 4 years. Like 8GB RAM
I could hope it supports simultasking.
gobarboss, 30 Apr 2015And I thought they would atleast give 12gb in z9. 8gb RAM in 2015 ??? Too disappointing. I think you need a doctor.
When ZTE nubia z9 & z9 mini launched in Indian market. please ZTE launch quickly in India. We Indian users waiting for these smartphone.
Yeah let's make 8 gigs of ram and drop microSD support in favor of unimpressive storage cause this all makes sense.
if any manufacturer is capable of breaking any limits, then they definitely will. lets jus wait for the launch date..
Anonymous, 30 Apr 2015So we have finally arrived at smartphones with PC level specs -- 8 cores clocked at a crazy 3.... moreWhat lag?
The only "lag" see is in App-managment when I flick through the apps-list which is due to the fact that the device is calculating how much space each item uses while I'm already scrolling through this list.
That's not "lag". That's the file/app-mamanger doing more than one thing on one list/database/whatever simultaneously.
If these trivial things are bothering you then I wonder how decadent you are? These are perceptual luxury problems that have no real meaning. Shouldn't we start focusing more on real-world problems than these trivial crap? The fact that this planet is NOT a safe place for instance (and it gets worse while human population is growing)!
Mobilemaster, 30 Apr 20158 GB is pointless on a smart phone.these things ain't smartphones anymore but pocket computers. They have the power of an early Core 2 Duo desktop PC with Full HD gaming capability.
But sure, there ain't any apps actually needing this amount of ram yet.
But the only sensible reason to EVEN USE a 64-bit OS (on ANY device for all I care) is to address MORE than 4GB system RAM. IMHO all these Snapdragon 810 or other devices with 3GB RAM and Lolipop, are ridiculous! They could run Kitkat equally good or as fast. Running a 64-bit Android shows absolutely NO benefit on these devices!
In fact I challenge GSMArena to compare a Galaxy S6 with KitKat (if such a beast exists) alongside an S6 with Lolipop. I'm convinced that differences are negligible and are very similar between an S4/S5 with Kitkat versus an S4/S5 with Lolipop. Not to mention Lolipop breaks some apps while Jelly Bean -> Kitkat not!
Mobilemaster, 30 Apr 20158 GB is pointless on a smart phone.Maybe... But because of the way linux is handling ram, you are always going to get more performance out of it. With 8 gigs of ram after a while everything will be cached and the system should be lightning fast.
