Android in its stock form is the only viable mobile operating system that allows source code access and actual ownership of your device instead of the other way around. You can actually block domains at layer 3 on Android with a HOSTS file so that you aren't pulling someone else's ads (or spyware) over a throttled mobile internet connection that you are already paying too much for. These smartphones are portable computers, and underneath is either a BSD or Linux kernel.

Xiaomi have a good targeting for smartphone. Mi5 plus don't have sense because of the Note Pro.
