Guys Windows 10 for phones will have all the apps that are there in ios and android as they have created universal apps conversion tool. Don't worry about apps anymore and trust me w10 will be awesome. That is why it is getting delayed.
Main thing which google doesn't do i.e major android updates are only for upper mid and higher segment phones but microsoft gives updates to each and every handset.
Those who don't like windows please don't waste ur time commenting on this section.

No time for games. Needs a reliable phone with good battery. Fixed it for ya. :-)

For emails and Office use a computer. Who's gonna type a serious "anything" on a phone? Unless it's a Note, but then we're not talking cheap phones, are we?

Microsoft makes the best flagships. The Nokia Lumia 1020 beats the pants out of phones that came out 2-3 years ago. I know that they will make a 940 or 950 that will make Apple run for its money. First off the phone will have 4GB of ram, quad core proc, plus they be using Canon lenses. I feel Microsoft is waiting the right time come out with a flagship. The longest phone I had was the lumia 920 till the screen cracked and I got an iPhone 6 Plus. Plus Researchers have created a ultra-zoom solution to measure strands of DNA with the Lumia 1020. See that what users want innovation. This ultra-zoom will change everything in the future. I can see it that my next phone will have ultra-zoom. The possibilities are endless.

No file manager is a big drawback, and you can't download and save attachments directly from e-mails (you need to Sync on a PC). The browser isn't that slick either. Crippled compared to IE on the desktop.

Simple User = Only makes phone calls, uses messaging and plays games.

AnonD-19153, 01 May 2015If it's going to be a better choice than Android or IOS Then they can take all the time they need It's already a better choice. It works as smooth as iOS, doesn't need iTunes, and the cheap ones are better than any Android at the same price. My friend got a Lumia 520 for 50 Euro and it runs in circles around his friend's iPhone 4S or any cheap Android. After a while Android starts slowing down, Windows never does. For simple users it's perfect.

I am hardly surprised, bet there won't be any flagship models released either just these same old duplicated handsets for the cheaper market, people just get bored of delays and look elsewhere.

So we see their priorities. Phone users, as we've seen before, were and will be left behind. How can Microsoft expect me buying their phone? Outdated phone, to addition.

There you go. Microsoft just can't keep up with the competition. They even cannot release decent phones apart from the cheap crap.
