I am using desire 616 with JB 4.2 only. Feeling lost money in this phone. htc has no concern with low end phones.

my s5 and nexus is unusable since the lollipop "update". I have stopped using it. HTC are probably doing you a favour. Trust me. I wish Samsung dud some basic performance testing before forcing this "UPGRADE" on people. If they had the would of moth balled it.

I am seriouslying consider legal action. As I have a phone I can't use.

AnonD-209094, 02 May 2015What, Mini 2 flagship? Please do explain or medicate yourself.Actually the One minis (both the M4 and this memul) were always priced like a flagship is most markets, with actual HTC representatives promoting them like a flagship device (just like the M7 and M8).

Of course specs always told otherwise... But if HTC sold it like a flagship and we paid it like a flagship then why shouldn't we get flagship support out of it?

"will not provide an optimal experience"

What a load of bull manure. Lollipop has LOWER system requirements and they come up with such lame excuse? What "optimal" experience are they talking about? Lazy bastards. Same nonsense as with HTC Wildfire. Even though it was a low end phone, they were avoiding Gingerbread update the same way with "optimal experience" nonsense. But after installing Cyanogen 2.3 on it it worked faster and better than with Froyo.

Why don't they just admit they are lazy and they want you to buy a better phone from them? But what they are really doing is pushing customers away as they'll be afraid the next phone from HTC will be treated just the same. Well ladida.
