Now just flashes a galaxy 5 sign on and off unless it is plug... more....I only installed the damn thing because it kept getting in the way of my drag screen and now this phone is an absolute piece of crap. Pretty angry about this one if this is just the way it's going to be...me a guy who would never ever go to apple will go to apple

Since last update to Marshmallow, cannot save shortcuts to home screen. Does anyone else have this problem?

Updated to the Marshmallow upgrade this morning, 7/30/2016
My phone is now a brick.
"Samsung" pulses on the screen, noting else is happening.
Tried reboot, tried factory reset, tried remove battery, sim and SD cards and reboot, etc, etc.
NOTHING!
So disappointed.

Check to see if your phone is charging via USB. If it is charging, drag the menu down from the top of the screen and select the USB charging options window. You should be able to enable photo file transfer there

Since updating my Galaxy S5 from 5.1 to 6.0.1 I've had nothing but problems. Couldn't send text with picture message. Using keyboard to do any typing would result in it freezing up for minutes at a time. Battery drains faster than before. Would last 3 days before it reached 10% then I'd charge it. Now within 12 hours I'd have to recharge it. And when turning on cell the screen would take longer to go onto home screen. So followed T mobile's advice to use Smart Switch to save all cell items on computer and do factory reset. Now I lost all favorite apps, some important pictures and memos. I swear these MFers do this on purpose to make people purchase new devices. Oh I did fix the sending text with pictures without their help.

I keep getting pop up ads, interrupting everything I do, I can listen to music, watch videos etc.
I can't type properly in a few websites as well. When I hit delete it keeps typing in random letters.

I am now really thinking about going to Apple. The upgrade has really messed with my phone and with a work ipad and mac what is the point of being loyal to Android if there updates are crap!!

I can't access the pictures from Windows when I connect my S5 to my laptop. I was able to do so, because just prior updating the S5, I had to clear out the memory of pictures and apps (for this very reason!). Now I can't view any existing phone pix from the laptop.
I have not seen any solution on google.

My screen doesn't come on when I hit side button. It takes 3x to fade on.
I used to be able to hit home key and phone would turn on and I could see time and date. Now I have to hit side button 3x.
When it does come on screen flickers different colors goes black then screen finally shows up. Any answers

42 % battery, not apps running, no calls, no usage of the phone and it died in 3 hours. it uses to run 2 days without a charge. What is going on?

Since my last update this morning 7/22/16 I am unable to edit or create contact information. My photo feature is also acting up.
