Getting rid of this phone. Will never buy a galaxy again. Going iPhone. What a horrific experience with new I requested update !!!!!
Computer says nothing on my phone, but phone maxed out in storage. Can't unload pictures.
I hate this update. Nothing good cane out of it...battery drains in a few hours even if you're not using the phone and everything is freezing!! Please fix this!!
Major major problems with new update..running background apps have quadrupled and battery life has become ridiculous. No matter how much i clean, its horrendous. I cant return to old is either..absolute pants samsung.

I used to b... moreBecause of the update, every time you want to mount to your PC, you need to change the phone connection mode. If you plug your phone in using a USB port, do a pull down to get at your settings. You should see a message that says something like "USB Charging. Tap here for more options." If you tap on that message, you'll get a popup that gives you the option to transfer files or photos. I clicked on "File Transfer" and my phone was then mounted. Hope this helps!

The reason I bought this phone was because of the battery. I work as a parcel carrier the battery would last me all day. I need it to look up addresses. I'm also delivering packages late at night. Since this update half ways thru my work day the battery is gone and that's without me using it. This is useless for me now. I also had to delete almost all my apps suddenly I had no space available.
During the last week of June 2016 my Samsung Galazy Ace II X GT.S7560M phone has gone from a battery life of 60 hours down to 12 hours ! I understand it did an O/S upgrade without my permission. And now, this phone has become useless. Responses are SO, SO, SLOWWW..... It takes the camera almost one minute to become functional. It takes my email 10 to 20 times as long to load. SAMSUNG, THIS IS DISGRACEFUL. You MUST IMMEDIATELY restore the old O/S. You can't field test your untested uprgrades on your users. Are you people amateurs? We have business' to run. If my phone doesn't 'magically' improve in the next few days I will NEVER support SAMSUNG again. I hope other users do the same. How can a company be so arrogant.
Same issues with S5...only 18 months old, struggling to get charge and when is charged loses battery rapidly! Very frustrating. I Googled the problem and someone had mentioned messenger so I looked in smart manager under battery and it showed fb messenger was using a lot of battery (100% in comparison to less than 10% for watsap etc) and I had only been on it once that morning so I've deleted the app and it's far better lasting. Still nowhere near right but huge difference. Worth a shot as it worked for me until Samsung sort these software glitches!! 😊

Have never been able to get my phone to read my sd card, regardless of various techniques I have tried. Camera stopped working and phone freezes a lot since the last update. No longer have an option to uninstall latest update. Did an online chat with Samsung, and although the service rep was very helpful and nice, there is nothing they can do except have me send in my phone- which means it's gone for two weeks and I need it for work- plus since it's no longer under warranty, I'll be charged a fee for repairs. This latest update sucks and is causing all kinds of issues with my phone. I've done the reset, clearing the cache, removing the battery, soft resets, everything but a factory reset. I am very disappointed in this company that I can barely use a phone which is a 18 months old, smh. The patch they sent out a few days ago has not helped anything. My spouse has an S4 which is three years old and he does not have these issues.
Short of trying a factory reset, I've no other options. Samsung, you have GOT to do better than this for all of us. I'm guessing that nothing will happen because the Galaxy is one of the leading phones right now and Samsung knows they'll get the sales regardless...grrrr

Ever since the June update my S5 has been going super slow. I'm not getting some texts and phone calls ( it goes right to voice mail or don't get them all together). The battery life is nill to none now and I have to make sure I keep my cord close or my battery will die. I'm due for an update in 6 months and was looking forward to getting the S7.... now I'm thinking differently because of this update.
PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO UNINSTALL THIS UPDATE OR FIX IT SAMSUNG!!
I really hate this update. My phone has never been the same and the battery life is a joke. The camera fails all the time, it looks and feels like I got the phone 10 years ago. Please fix it or let us revert back to the old version. Really disappointed, will not be upgrading to a Samsung in a hurry

Just updated my Note 4 and now it won't charge...says 0 to 1%. Dead in the water.
