I updated and now I have this weird overlay screen that won't go away. It mirrors whatever the screen shows in miniature. Annoying.

Updated S5 the other day. It has merged my contacts linking names and numbers in random fashion so I have no idea where the contact exists. You don't know there is a problem till you go to call someone and find out you called the wrong person or when you search for the person they no longer exists as the file was merged with another contact. Have been delinking as I find each problem.

Since I updated a few days ago, when I use the Bluetooth in my car, it keeps dropping the call to the phone's speaker. So much for hands-free. This was never a problem with previous versions.

My phone lost everything. All my contacts, pictures, apps, everything gone. Restarted like it was a new phone. Do I have any hope to get any of it back?

Had the same problem starting yesterday. Screen scrolled up and down then side to side so fast it made you dizzy to look at it. Then it would turn to snow and most of the was locked. It overheated so bad you could hardly handle it. Took it to Verizon, another lady standing there next to me had an S5 with similar problem. No fix - they had heard there was an update problem but didn't know much about it. AS I needed a phone I had to buy a new phone - hopefully Samsung gets this under control soon. Whatever the problem, it is not affecting the Samsun S7 as yet.

since the update, my keyboard force closes, buttons random push, and then random apps open. all my downloaded apps corrupted and now wont redownload. worst update ever

My battery is dying in a few hours, my phone isn't downloading emails this sucks!

If I send a picture now, it doesn't let me add text to it anymore. It automatically sends it, then I can add text.

My Galaxy S5 cell phone is completely DEAD!! Updated a few days ago and the update killed it. Hoping my provider will have a solution when I bring it in.

Can't access anything in my gallery after the update, my pc says the phone is working fine but when I open it is says this folder is empty. And I see there are no replies from Samsung on all of these issues, UPDATE FAIL!

Help please! Is there ANY way for me to revert to the older version?
This update is draining my phone battery, unable to find ANY of my contacts, unable to send messages promptly.
So until they solve their problems (and I go back probably to the Iphones) I definitely need to revert to my old version. Guys this is my work phone and my life also. If by Monday I don't have access to my contact list then I am royally *u***d !!

It downloaded either by me swiping my screen and accidently downloaded or it downloaded without my permission. I was not on wifi and during may 2016 it stole $130 pre paid data ... everytime i did a top up to make contact with family and friends it sucked it up ... it affected messengers app. The download has reappeared again !

So mad new update won't let me into my play store. Keeps telling me my back up data is disabled, but I've done everything to fix it and it keep yelling me that. Update suck. Hate it.
