Its the better optimization of the windows OS that makes it more efficient and lag free than android OS, Moreover unlike android, it does not use Java, so the extra RAM for garbage collection is not required.
More RAM = More energy consumption , so even with lesser RAM on windows you can get lag free performance and better battery life. A 512 RAM Lumia will easily outperform a 512 MB /1 GB RAM android.
The overall aesthetic quality of Lumia phones is definitely better than the similar priced android phones.
The camera quality of Lumia phones is way far better than android.
The durability and brand value is unquestionable compared to similar priced unknown android devices.
They are more value for money than any android or apple mobile device which are way too expensive.

sick of these tom, dick and harry. Microsoft should now launch a flagship model. Increasing or decreasing the screen size with same specs won't help in increasing the number of sales.

#SUMIT, 04 May 2015Microsoft still does nt understand the indian market & also indian customers.. Still they ... moreLumia 640 is not a high budget phone its under 10k
and still there are plenty of Lumias under 10k to challenge the competitors.

dont compare androids with windows under 10k interms of specs

512mb RAM Lumia can perform as good as 1GB RAM androids
