The carriers have to make there changes to the update ... morekinda but they have to do the changes to the software to send it to google then have google certify it then send it out to devices then find bugs (if there are any??) then do the same process to update with bug fixes

Si... moreunderstandable yeah there are issues with the other phones although like I say it is all about the optimisation of the software to the hardware... so it may take some time and because all these software revisions need to go through google before being allowed to be sent to mobile devices, so in any case it takes time to put one update though to the device before being able to bug test it (with the added factor of the consumer pushing for all the latest version) then put out a bug fix wasting more time going to update the software then get google to verify it like I say unless using the update on the **same** device there is no need to comment

My N910T doesn't have battery drain issues, actually battery life is about the same compared to Kit Kat. Smoother performance and the UI enhancements are worth the update

B... moreThis is Note Edge, not Note 4... software can vary per phone model so yes it may drain your battery but think about the different functions and features and the actual hardware the optimisation might have been for a different variation of hardware to yours.. Plus the most important thing to note (pun intended) is the fact that you don't own the device so you have no reason to comment with your I have this version of phone junk unless you test the actual device in question then don't comment at all.
