The Xperia Z3 Compact is still pretty unique, unfortunately.I love mine, but wish it had more than 16GB on board, I occasionally run low with apps and such (even with a 64GB SD card). To their credit, Sony has made continual improvements to the camera, which used to be the biggest problem. Battery is still phenomenal...

I am not sure if Motorola actually listens: The strength of the original 2013 Moto X was how practical the device was (and still remains) - Now put the practicality with a 2014/2015 camera +- a SD card, and Boom! the only phone worthy of purchase. They destroyed an almost perfect product line.

The source link says it's a "clear pixel" camera sensor. That probably means no OIS, since clear pixel is one of these gimmicky ways to try to get more low light sensitivity out of regular, pretty small camera sensors. Ironically, these sensors, though producing brigher pictures in low light, also introduce color artifacts and other distortions, kind of defeating the purpose (why improve low light performance in one area, only the mess it up in another?).

Sigh, another mediocre camera from Motorola in a so called flagship. I guess cutting a few corners has always been what the Moto X has been about (like the always year behind the times chipsets); that's how they keep the price down.

            OIS? OIS?

If it doesn't have OIS it's not a flagship phone.

It also needs to have dual stereo front facing speakers. Way more useful than the bump to QHD resolution on the screen.

And I hope they keep the design of the current phone rather than feel the need to tweak it just for the sake of being different. They've got a great design right now. Don't ruin it like HTC did with the original One (the M8 and M9 are okay, but not as nice as the original design).

So basically a smaller battery Droid Turbo. Just get the Turbo then.

I think the best piece of Moto X was 1st Gen. 5.2 inch is much bigger phone to hold. 4.7 is the sweet spot .

4.7" screen, 2 GB of RAM , > 10 MP camera with this processor would be ideal phone. The other factor of Iphone success is its not running after the size race . 4.5/4.7 is the ideal phone . Anything bigger and you are losing the customers

S805 would be a better choice. ALso, the QHD resolution isn't necessary at that screen size.

Ah well, at least last year's Moto X will be sold cheaper...

AnonD-366029, 06 May 2015Still no SD?you'll never find any SD card in flagship devices as in such devices memory sections are divided or allocated for particular files for faster performance. This way processor follows the same procedure to reach upto a particular allocated file and becomes very easy and light for processor to reach up to the right areas in memory within no time.

Even the old 720p Amoled panels, like the one in Note 2, are still very good. Dissapointing if they give up to the QHD craze....

What matters most regarding Motorola phones is availability. Can't get my hand on the moto maxx/turbo up till today :(

3280mAh battery is decent enough but once I look at that 4GB RAM, it kinda feels battery mayn't be good enough(wish it would be removable but then again it is Motorola).
Hoping for a 128GB version cos I'm pretty sure there's no external storage (doesn't matter much to me)!
They need to be spot on with regards to pricing. Maybe a bit more than Asus Zenfone 2 128GB but not in the range of One M9, G4 or S6

                                        RIP 810! :p :D
