Snapdragon 810-powered OnePlus Two to be priced at $400 Comments

1. Snapdragon said they were not ready for 64 bit processor and that 810 is not as good as it was meant to be.
2. $400 price seems to be reasonable for One Plus, however I doubt it is gonna be reasonable for costumers.
3. Next One Plus model is not gonna be a Cyanogen one.
As for me, I wont get it. for this Price there can be a Meizu or some other smartphone ;) Not to mention that Meizu plans to release in November next smartphone with snapdragon 820 already.

The "ways" companies (HTC and LG) have reduced heat from the 810 was by throttling the thing before it could get too hot. Not a very nice experience.

For OnePlus to hit another Home run, they're going to have to be pretty creative technically but how they market their next phone will be the deciding factor whether they succeed or fail.
The OPO beat or matched the specs of the LG 3 and Galaxy S5, the two leading flagship phones at the time when it was introduced in April 2014.
What made that amazing was they sold the One for half the price. Next, they had CyanogenMod behind them. Pity the relationship
went sour but the Two will definitely not have a CM logo on it as shown in the accompanying photo.
OnePlus will now have to match or beat the specs of the G4 and S6. They'll also have to do away with the dumb invite system that pissed so many people off.
One way they could do that without risk is to increase the lead time on orders. For example, as soon as 200K phones are ordered and paid for, another production run begins.
Another idea...Someone at OnePlus BizDev should approach Amazon and tell them that they could have saved $125M in development costs of the Fire Phone if that had partnered earlier.
Amazon could easily bankroll all production costs of the Two and in return get a unique app installed that would offer Prime discounts and services.
Imagine if Amazon announced that you can buy the Two (exclusively) off contract for $199 when you sign up for two years of Amazon Prime! The phone would pay for itself.
Common' Mr. Zuohu, put your thinking cap on and hit another home run! Your fans are counting on you you to do something different that will surprise the entire Mobile industry, again!

And its Not Oppo , its Xiaomi who found the solution to dissipate heat , but it's still unclear whether it works or not...but thats only limited to Xiaomi , and Qualcomm didn't done anything to correct it...!

AnonD-182072, 07 May 2015No thanks we don't need this crap anymore ! 400 is a way high for a startup company like this !the One plus one was $300 and $350 respectively for the 16gb and 64gb versions.so $50 or $100 more is practically none when you compare it to HTC,Samsung and Apple baseline price tags

kj, 07 May 2015without cyanogenmod lets see how many of those can they sell.......For sure CM is old and tested through times. No doubt OPO will gather statistics and data before making any big decision on manufacturing no of devices and how to compete with CM and other phone makers.They can do it better as long as they use good developers and good marketing/advertising strategies like before.
