AnonD-9000, 08 May 2015User friendly?? Hahaha iOS simplier and its features are all very usefuliOS is more user friendly because it removes all the features that would confuse users, and Android allows users to delve further into their OS and customize more. The two are completely different approaches, so it's like comparing apples to ... Androids. Ha! See what I did there?

This is OLD information from 2014, now samsung released Samsung S6 and S6 Edge, that will give a BIG push up on sales in USA. As it offers really the TOP1 phone on sale on the planet earth.

                First of all.
all changes are "within the margin of error", at least it would be considered as "changes within the margin of error", if it had been political opinions.

                Secondly.
A little, or still better heavy pressure on Google to keep the Android as the #1 most popular mobileOS is good for everyone.

No one gaining anything from a Google becoming a new Microsoft.

Perhaps Androids decline was bigger but they shifted a percentage point here or there. Or maybe Samsung with their revenue and market share dropping everywhere didn't want everyone to know about their bigger drop in U.S. market share and slipped them something to make it seem smaller.

Baseless speculation can go both ways.

Which one of you wise men here then, has been thru all Apple and comscores files to verify these figures, a percent here or there out of supposed millions. You could adjust these either way,and no one on the planet can gain say either way, its a non, apple hyping story,

This slight dip in Android's share is because of the snapdragon 810. People are refraining from buying the new flagships from Sony and HTC. I hope the OnePlus Two doesn't use the snapdragon 810.

No surprised with Apple and Samsung on top. They spend the most money on marketing. Android floods the market with so many phones but the OS is my 3rd choice OS.

WP is very much user friendly like Android and build in quality like apple. So it may not attracted US citizens now but they will recognize it soon.
Then you can see Windows OS all over in coming years ( but it may take some time). European union, brazil, south Africa, India had recognized this already and slowly wp is gaining share and soon will Americans change their buggy minds
