I am extremely upset over the crap performance of my S6 after the update. In fact it has frozen. So many posts of the same complaint, it signifies that it is unfortunately true.
Samsung has definitely lost me as a customer. Sadly, I have had 3 Samsung phones but will switch to iphone. I regretted the update.

Icons looks preaged and small .
Messaging apps notifications not clear .

After "upgrade", putting my ear to phone which is one way of using my phone, the thing goes into airplane mode. Hummmmm. Who put the airplane mode icon where my ear goes and who would want to got to AP mode during a call? so my ear touches the AP mode icon and i go to AP mode. Maybe cut my ear off to simplify software or wear ear muffs? Phone also opens a new window and wants to convert voice to text?? I have hung up on my 86 year old mom 3 times, bad karma. Now use Bluetooth headset to protect phone from my ear. As far as the phones new Phone call GUI (graphical user interface) i am not pleased!

Hi,
Why? This latest software upgrade is really bad. So many issue's it's really making me not want a Samsung. Just to write this was extremely fustrating....go back to how it was please.

OMG...what were Samsung thinking.....this latest update is crap. Hate the new look of the some of the icons and apps. Please put my calender back to how it was!!!! And what's with the character restrictions when sending a message....totally crazy. Please sort it out or off to Apple....

Woke up to find my Samsung s6 has gone crap with this new update... SAMSUNG what have you done????? Phone app crap.... favourites page gone.. settings ??? Disaster... message background ?? RUINED A PERFECTLY GOOD PHONE.

First it deleted my cleaning app..then it changed how i access my apos..which now i cant seem to find..hafe hate hate how my messages look...several kf my apps are nkt workibg correctly!...ive been a loyal customer...im due for an upgrade and am considering dumping samsung!..so unhappy

I have been very happy with all the past updates, except this one. The only part that I do like is the addition of more emoticons, especially the flag section. That's it tho. I'm not having battery probs, I'm having android system probs. i get a notice that "The Android System has stopped working." And that's it. It does not tell me anything else to do.
Not happy with this at all. It seems less functional than it was before. It looks like an older outdated version and there are flaws, many flaws. I hope Samsung realizes this and puts out a better update, soon!

Any S6 users having trouble with Spotify stopping after several seconds, or any video on Facebook or Youtube? This all started after the update. Keyboard issues as well...closing while I'm in the middle of texting or messenger etc...I thought this might clear up after a few days. Sadly still causing problems.

So anytime you have unwanted change people panic. The bad of the update: apps I have shut down keeps restarting on their own. I now have removed a few of the apps. Not sure why this happens. Yes font is smaller and keyboard is a bit different but still usable. Camera issues with the inability to connect to a server and I have to restart it, a lot. The overall usability is good because of a learning curve and I am sure the more I use it the better I will feel about it. It reminds me of the HTC Sense interface. Now if you bought a Android you like to customize so why go to Iphone? Better yet, Go and be stuck with what they want you to have.

My update won't finish. It has downloaded, turned off, but won't turn back on... just stays there with Samsung logo on screen..

Where is the multi language keyboard gone.. Previous i could swipe space key and you got the next language.

The update is great. I have high battery improvement and this is real. Very nice look, too with Nougat. I like it. Waiting for the new Galaxy Note 8.

The latest s6 update sucks.... even in fast charging mode it is taking 3 to 4 hrs to charge the battery completely... battery draining fast....background appearance worst.... messaging app appears confused.... icons became small..... contacts list very unfriendly..... using the mobile phone becomes very complicated now.....till now gave good competition to iPhone but samsung is losing its customers very fast because of recent events..... been loyal customer to samsung since last 10 yrs.... good bye Samsung..... shifting to iPhone as they show concern to there customers very fast

Oh God, what were they thinking. This update is AWFUL. Maybe in time I'll find some improvements in it, but right now they've taken something which worked really well, had the best user interface on the market and replaced it with something far far worse.
