Wife's phone updated last night worst update started deleting contacts and contact pics randomly can uninstall update but take hrs to uninstall and locked her out of her email also
I don't like Losing the things that worked well. Why do they do this? Arggg!!!!
I called Samsung at 800-726-7864 for technical support. The technician was very nice and tried to help, but he was not able to help with any of my software-related issues. I have to take my phone to the closest Best Buy, and go to the Samsung Experience Shop and see a software tech who will back up my phone and do a "Reflash" It was explained this will take my phone back to the previous software version, and I will lose the features of the latest software. As I did not see any new features that improved my cell phone capabilities, this will be Fine with me.

SPRINT says contact Samsung at 800-726-7864. Clearly these issues are a result of the latest update. Take responsibility and Fix... unless the Samsung objective is to make people buy a new phone. Well if I have to get a new phone it Will Not be a Samsung.

This has happened to me before with Samsung and I fell for it. I Will Not fall for it this time. They can either fix it or I will change manufacturers!

I am unable to open any of those app plus Im stuck on the screen. Only way to access my hone screen and windows is by restarting phn or shutting down.

I totally agree with the comments about the latest update from Samsung...AWFUL!! I want the old features back. I find nothing positive about the latest updates. There is not one feature worth the update
I absolutely agree!! I love having the favorites on my phone and on my text (The little bubble at the top for quick access as well as the frequently called numbers). WHY do you feel the need to make things "better" by taking away features we love?
OMG! I'm so disappointed with the new update on my galaxy s6 for sprint.It is horrible!!! It changed everyone my phone. I'M NOT HAPPY! MAKES ME WANT TO GET AN IPHONE!

As far as I currently see it, they destroyed what was my lease of a cellphone with the update April 23, 2017.
In my opinion they've also broke the contract agreed upon, by changing this phones features.
The cellphone I agreed to lease for 2 years with option to buy, no longer exists.

My screens look awful.
The camera that I was so proud of, won't even go into 'pro' mode, (which IMO, was best thing about this phone).
When I finally realized how to get around on it, I went to open the pro setting of the camera, & it shut it down.
I tried at least 5 times.
So I tried all the stuff they do with the automatic responses...
Turned off the phone after doing a check for more updates.
Made sure that my Wifi was on.
Looked to see if I had a good WiFi connection while doing all corrections.
Checked again to see if all setting were proper.
Rebooted the cellphone again.
Checked for excellent Wifi while doing updates & then rebooted once more.
The one thing I didnt do, & Won't do without Tech support, is go into 'Safemode'. This isnt a computer.
With this update, the screens are now so hard to understand, everything was so nice before, why did you need to change all this ?
I had to "Lease" this phone with a option to purchase after, & my lease is almost up.
It now seems to be intentionally sabotaged.
I was needing a better phone in 2015, because they were pretty much phasing out my Galaxy S4 with the system upgrades that the S4 wasn't compatible with.
So I got a 2 year contract on the Galaxy S6.
The Galaxy S6 doesn't have the ability of removing the Battery or installing a SD Card, & because of that, I ordered the (very hard to get), 128 gig version.
I couldn't even get the colors offered for this phone, because of it being on back order so badly, & it had just been released!
I am also paying top dollar for it, because its the 128 gig, & now you have ruined it.
It keeps wanting to put everything into the Samsung cloud, my contacts my pictures, & everything else, I don't want that!
I also noticed that the Samsung Galaxy S6 back in April of 2016 it had a 'update', & was getting complaints, for a very long time, why didn't you correct it then?
My wife has a Galaxy S7, her recent update wasn't very painful compaired to mine, & the setup pages look the same, & her camera pro screen does work.
Why did you destroy my phone.
I've noticed your newest Galaxy allows the SD card (again).
I don't know how anyone can afford to buy the next version of cellphone that comes out each time, but I'm disabled, & unable to work, we can't afford new phones every year!

BTW has anyone realized that on almost every page of these comments, there's a ad stating a new product is coming out replacing a product that is part of this update we're having problems with?
s6 just went to shit, running super slow and glitchy and now my mic doesnt work regular,speaker or video recording, dont know if it was the update, but it just happened now 7pm 4/22/2017, im thinking it was the update because I havent added anything new, or dropped it etc..., and it worked earlier today like a charm.
