Worst system update... Edge screen color gone. Camera is blurry. I lost ringtones.
I did a factory reset thinking I had a glitch in the updates. I hate my phone now. I want back my phone the way it was before the last system updates.
MY PHONE IS DOWNGRADED FROM WHAT I ORIGINALLY GOT THE SAMSUNG 6 EDGE + FOR. NOW ITS A SAMSUNG 6S EDGE -
Samsung Simply Sucks -- say it out loud, it's fun and easy! This #&*@^$#% update completely and irrevocably is garbage. I see lots of folks in this thread complaining about tiny type, but my problem is HUGE type -- it's like a 1st grader's first book. Also I had my home page and adjacent pages exactly as I wanted them, but this @#$^( update deleted ALL that; for example, I had a dozen news apps clustered in one tidy icon and now there doesn't appear a way to replicate that. WTF is Samsung thinking? Oh, I get it -- this is like the piece o' crap lemon Samgsung French door refrigerator I got in 2103 that died a month after its one-year warranty expired. Samsung Simply Sucks. Never buyin' Samsung ever ever again. Hey everybody, contact Costco and all your other favorite retailers and let's start a boycott until Samsung reverses this abomination they call an upgrade.
My S6 was system updated on 4/29 in Reno, while my friends phone was just days after mine in the same area that has a newer phone than mine. I agree with everyone, I hate this new update. I went to the Verizon store today to complain and asked how or if I can go back to my previous system. He clicked into where the system update was installed and said NO, the S6 does not have that feature. But as I understood the other phones do. All you can do when they present a new update is to keep saying later, later, later. Stupid, stupid, stupid. What were they thinking? I can make my font larger to read in my text and email. But as others mentioned I cannot rotate pictures. I also saw that they've changed how you edit your pictures. Took awhile to figure that out. Also I got a call from my doctor office to confirm an appointment telling me to press 1 to confirm. No keypad appeared as before. Well today the guy showed me that you have to remove the phone from your face and on the middle of the screen, (in very fine pale white on grey print) you see the words keypad. Click on that and your keypad will show up. Unbelievable What they've done. I agree with everyone, if it isn't broke, leave it alone. And my next phone will very well be an IPhone.
Samsung, you have ruined a good thing with this latest update. I hate my phone and already hated my carrier AT&T. Now I wish we just had pay phones. Oh, Samsung, if you read these posts, I am posting this message from my iPad. And soon maybe from an iPhone.
this sucks....samsung has taken a great product and made it junk!!!!
Being forced into the so called features of this update is unacceptable. Visually, these features are ineffective as they make everything either difficult to see, read or are smaller, such as the icons. Decrease the size of the logos, so you can add a white block behind them?? Who in their right mind thought THIS would be appealing? Looking into my contract today to turn my back on android and go apple, which I never saw as a possibility until this update.
This update is causing phone to take 12-14 hours to charge now!

Recently upgrated my Verizon Samsung G6 to the lastedt solfware. I want my previous version.back. This is not what I want. How can I get the previous version back?
I have a note 5 for work, the Android 7 upgrade on that looked like crap too but it just looked like crap it's not rebooting or having software issues. I changed the theme and icons now its OK. I also have a SamsungG6 for personal use, and have not started the update,I am so glad! After reading all of these posts I will not update to Android 7 on my Galaxy 6 until I know that this issue is no longer an issue. Thank you all

-Phone turns off instantly when not plugged into an energy source eventhough it is fully charge
-Random reboots or turn offs
-White screen background on my contact notes so I can not see what I have saved prior.
-Weak phone screen visuals and commands
My first phone was a Samsung back in 1998, since then I developed a preference for the samsung brand.
This circumstance Samsung brand has put me in makes me think about the dreadful I phone. I believe Samsing has 7 days to fix this problem
Worst update EVER. My phone can't go more than an hour without freezing up and me having to restart it. Please just at least test your updates before you make them live. Act like a real software developer.
I am not one to spend snippets of my life posting online; however..the upgrade to my G6 on May 2 ,2017 pushed me to search to see if others are as displeased as I am with this new offering.
The saying ' JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN do a thing, DOESN'T MEAN YOU SHOULD. " apply big time here! The changes from Samsung..or Verizon are awful to a point of almost being offensive. Design team..poor attempt at "job security'. Listing specifics at this point would be redundant to some of the other posters comments. I will say this "why in the name of reasonableness if a 'one'step', straight forward command worked, why would you change it to a 2, 3 or 'go fish' til you find what now works?
And, i am now also receiving annoying unwanted calls as others on forum have.

What in the world are you thinking? The update changed the color of the text and phone logs making it look washed out and hard to read. The icons even changed. Have you ever heard, if it isn't broke, don't fix it????
Change it back or I switching to and IPhone. None of my friends with IPhones have these issues. Please hurry. I hate this Samsung 6 phone now.
Hope Samsung is listening to all the complaints. Im a big Samsung fan but the latest software update sucks. My phone keeps rebooting while i am viewing an app. Bland colors no option to change font for texting. Phone book is bland. No option to change colors or font. What happened Samsung? I was happy without the update. My phone rebooting at random is the worst.

Since this update, my phone has completely froze up and crashed over night 4 different times. I had trouble resetting it, but now it won't reset at all. Completely useless phone now. I'm annoyed!
This is the worst update yet. Everything on my Galaxy S6 phone is now much harder to read. It seems now I am having to push buttons twice now very often instead of once. Today, another changed feature frosted me. I get phone calls from sales people that I don't want. Today, I got another one, and it used to be such a breeze to block it. All I had to do was hit the context menu while that phone number was selected and select "Add number to blocked caller list". Now, even that is pain. Now, you bring up the menu, and that selection is gone. You have to go into "Settings", then select "Block unwanted numbers" and then you have to type in the phone number (if you can remember it) to add it to the blocked list. This is a huge step backwards! Thankfully, in one month my 2-year contract is up and then I will try my first Apple phone.
