Everything was fine. Galaxy 6, no problems. Prior updates seemed to integrate unobtrusively. Just about completed my two year contract. WHAM! I allowed an update last night. What are Verizon and Google thinking? Graphic and functional changes to our phones should be elective. Not forced. I get that both of you (Verizon and Google) are dominant forces within your spheres of power - but give us a break. These are our cell phones. We rely on them.
Totally agree with the other comments. This update SUCKS!! The screen, notifications, and icons are small & hard to read. Everything just looks cheap. Needs to be fixed ASAP!!
Contract almost up, screen cracked. Not renewing, not repairing. New provider, new phone, new operating system. Samsung April 2017 update actually a downgrade. Self sabotage -- it sucks!
Completely agree with the disfaction of this update. Can we also talk about how my battery is destroyed after a minute?! WTH It used to last all day. Now it drains 10% over 15mins. Of Inactivity. Grrrrr

Why can't these people just leave things alone that works perfectly fine. We will go blind with this update. Who the heck designed this piece of garbage. Can't wait to change phones and vendor. SAMSUNG ARE YOU LISTENING. ROLL BACK THIS LAST GARBAGE UPDATE. There is no added value here.!
I hate the new update....everything is smaller...I have to perform more steps to make a phone call to someone who has more than one number,,,,i.e., home or mobile....The outlined icons are smaller and harder to see......Samsung...you really messed up on this update....what the heck were they thinking?????????????????????
This update makes it nearly impossible to read the notifications. It's just awful.
Perhaps it was an attempt to get people to stop looking at their phones while driving as the screen is now nearly impossible to read without staring at it and putting on glasses.
jamma984, 28 Apr 2017This is a horrible update. Please, please, fix. The cons, screens, calendar - it's terrible.... moreI totally agree with the dissatisfaction expressed here. Why would Samsung do this? In addition to the terrible UI , Google Play Store will not open. Way to go Samsung.
This is a horrible update. Please, please, fix. The cons, screens, calendar - it's terrible. Samsung - what have you done?????? Everything is so light and small and hard to read. Can't enlarge some screens. Ugh.
Sucks! Same issues with readability, changed keys, etc. I was a big fan for the Samsung camera for years, and for Android, but this update is dreadful.
This update is horrible! I can't read the words and you cannot enlarge the main screen.
The calendar colors are so bright you cannot read what is there.
All your email files show their sub-folders - no options. What do you think sub folders are for?
This is the worst cell phone update I have ever had!
Wife's phone updated last night worst update started deleting contacts and contact pics randomly can uninstall update but take hrs to uninstall and locked her out of her email also
I don't like Losing the things that worked well. Why do they do this? Arggg!!!!
I called Samsung at 800-726-7864 for technical support. The technician was very nice and tried to help, but he was not able to help with any of my software-related issues. I have to take my phone to the closest Best Buy, and go to the Samsung Experience Shop and see a software tech who will back up my phone and do a "Reflash" It was explained this will take my phone back to the previous software version, and I will lose the features of the latest software. As I did not see any new features that improved my cell phone capabilities, this will be Fine with me.
Jean, 17 Apr 2017I absolutely hate the new update...it needs to be fixed. Hate the format of everything. Have... moreDon't expect any help from SPRINT. They told me they have no control over the mfgrs software updates. They gave me Samsung's phone number 800-726-7864
CJHALLX, 20 Apr 2017Please list your provider so we can tell if it is the vendor not Samsung. Thank you!Great, now we cn have Samsung and our service providers pointing fingers at each other. SPRINT says contact Samsung at 800-726-7864. Clearly these issues are a result of the latest update. Take responsibility and Fix... unless the Samsung objective is to make people buy a new phone. Well if I have to get a new phone it Will Not be a Samsung.

Batte... moreYes, anyone who has low vision and needs high resolution and easier to read fonts will not be able to fix the problem using settings. It is horrible. Is there a way to complain directly to Samsung?
Richard K., 23 Apr 2017Received my current Samsung galaxy S6 September of 2015, after ordering it in April of 2015 &a... moreI agree, I believe it has been intentionally "updated" to get people to order the newest phone. This has happened to me before with Samsung and I fell for it. I Will Not fall for it this time. They can either fix it or I will change manufacturers!
