Beyond horrible update! Everything about my phone sucks now...I can't flip my pictures sideways or find what they've done with the switch in settings, I touch my screen and it slides instead of opening an app, the keyboard SUCKS!!!! I have to re-type everything now. I hate it hate it hate it!!!!! I'm pissed and seriously going to look into a different phone now. Thanks for nothing Samsung!
Oh, and it has this horrible alarm that just goes off at any random time now and I can't find it to turn it off! Just horrible all around!
This update is horrible! Very hard to read and even see. Samsung messages is worst of all. Please change everything back to the way it was! And hurry!
If it aint broke don't fix it!!
Seriously, the font on my notifications is so small I can barely read it with my glasses ON!
What's worst is that the font for the words "CONTENT HIDDEN" under the ultra small font is large. Hello!! The content is ALWAYS HIDDEN! Yu pinheads make the title of the notification smaller? It's like reading a package insert for a prescription drug for gods sake.
Also, I used to be able to see what WiFi network I was conneted to by looking at the pull-down screen. Now I have to open up Settings to check it. How lame.
Plus the phone now looks like an iPhone.
Please come up with a fix for this. I loved my S6.
Update sucks. my phone was fine before... now my setting are all messed up. I didn't ask for all these new fonts either. Just give me the security updates and I'll opt out of the rest. I liked my phone before. And the camera.. my goodness. I just want to take a picture or shoot a video. This thing thinks I want to be Steven Spielberg or Ansel Adams.
This latest update is awful. Samsung's reputation is already ruined with Samsung 7. Now they frack up Samsung 6. I need to listen to audiobooks. Get migraines when try to read. So I live by audiobooks. Now? Now after this unwanted update, there is a HORRIBLE reverb on the audio. It is like I am listening in a tunnel. I haven't found any fixes for this and no way to roll back to the prior upgrade. Thanks a lot Samsung! You have really lived up to your tarnished reputation.
I agree with everyone else your new update sucks. Everything looks blah.
Hate this update as well. So frustrating ans what the heck happened to the keyboard where's the period!
Loved my s6, loved Verizon, now HATE both because of latest update. I'll be dumping this phone ASAP.
Anonymous, 29 Apr 2017Everything was fine. Galaxy 6, no problems. Prior updates seemed to integrate unobtrusively.... moreAlso do not like the new "sleek" look ..its harder to read....My contacts list for messages was changed to one I had years ago ( some of those folks dead!)...camera now more complicated to use...I want to able to choose security updates and NOTHING ELSE....
Anonymous, 27 Apr 2017I agree, I believe it has been intentionally "updated" to get people to order the newest phone... moreI hate hate hate this update. Please change back to the large and clearer font. I hate this phone now and am serriously thinking of changing from androids. Hate hate hate this!! so frustrating
Absolutely hate this update, wish I never did it and of course we are also due for an upgrade hummmmm
Hate, hate, hate, hate this update.
It took away ALL my personalization. Are they kidding? I hope the people that created this crap also took the update on their phones.
Latest update is a total disaster . . . HATE IT . . . FIX It . . . too many problems to list !
I agree with all the other comments, I hate this update and now I hate my phone!!!!! Can't wait for my contract to end so I can buy an I phone!
I wish I never downloaded the new update. Now the phone keeps on telling me to restart due to BS activity. Also what's the point of making the phone less user friendly? You people must really hate your customers.
I UPDATED MY S6 Apr 27th. now I get s loud static noise when looking at shoes or listening to music. My as Health doest read my heart rate anymore, the sensor isn't working. Straight garbage. Punish the person who authorized the push or have him fix it fast, faster than fast.
Everything was fine. Galaxy 6, no problems. Prior updates seemed to integrate unobtrusively. Just about completed my two year contract. WHAM! I allowed an update last night. What are Verizon and Google thinking? Graphic and functional changes to our phones should be elective. Not forced. I get that both of you (Verizon and Google) are dominant forces within your spheres of power - but give us a break. These are our cell phones. We rely on them.
