I have a S^ Edge & had bought in India [64 GB] paying a bombshell... Not sure why did I when I had lot of other better models... In any case post the warranty period even the service centers treat us so bad & worth nothing BTW just a piece of shit...
Yes after updating the latest software the the phone auto restarts / over heating whilst charging & even otherwise its warm at all times.. The best part is now all applications minimizes & maximizes automatically & making my life miserable to even use.
All i heard was now with new flagship in the market the value is lost & no one even wants to buy this brick... God save us the samsung users!
I did the latest update last week. I now have a new phone :( Would stay open in any app. Kept saying not split screen compatible. Would keep flashing from app to screen with all own apps. Couldn't do anything. Luckily it was under warranty and a new one was sent to me. New one wanting to do the update but I'm avoiding it! Hated that I couldn't use my camera for my daughter's first Christmas!
Samsung is becoming suck! Apple is looking better all the time! I'm most likely switching to Aapple extremely soon...
Just did the update to my S6 Edge Christmas night!!! WTH SAMSUNG?! HUGE problems with my phone now - home key doesn't work at all unless phone is on charger; phone is very glitchy now and goes to black screen in the middle of doing something flashing blue light but doing nothing else til it goes back on the charger. The off button on side isn't responsive most of the time. The entire phone has significantly slowed its response time and it wasn't too terrific before. I'm sooooo over this brand and my carrier (with the V)! Thousands paid per year (~$2,400 for 3 lines of service and phone payment plans) which is a travesty alone but made exponentially worse being frustrated with non-functioning expensive phones.

The manufacturer told me I can take my phone to best buy and have them flash back to before the new update. The new update has me my phone over heat, makes my phone over heat and wifi is broken. So fed up with Samsung
Latest Verizon update bricked my SG6 phone as well. At least I just happened to backup 3000+ pictures yesterday. I feel lucky. Back to my SG5 I guess. It was a better phone anyway.
Seems like if phone is working fine, it might be better to not risk updating it. I thought updates were to improve, not render useless cellphone as most of these reviews indicate. If I gamble and it hurts, rather than helps my phone, can I restore it's pre-update status?
My galaxy s6 active just finished updating after about 3p minutes and is extremely hot and laggy, was fine before the update.
Wi-Fi is broken on my S6. Immediately disconnects after connecting...
This latest "update" turned my S6 into a brick. Since it is over 12-months old, I am SOL. Gee thanks verizon.

My phone has had bad internet connection and Bluetooth doesn't work. Also, the battery is dying much faster and the phone seems to always be really hot. Love the phone but this last update I had I believe on the 6th is frustrating.
Samsung update Galaxy 6 is a mess, cannot answer my calls, phone rings, caller cannot hear me, how to get this fixed? Manufacturer causes obsolescence and distrust in their product. Need immediate resolution for repair.

This issue is getting onto my nerves
After the most recent update,the phone is a mess.It is constantly restarting,but not even reaching the homepage before it goes back to switching off.
The phone is heating up to some other level.
Is this issue going to fix anyway.If there is solution,Please help.

After the last update which, in my case, coincided with the Windows 10 update, I cant get a proper sync of my calendar. Entries are duplicated and triplicated, and the sync doesn't ever quite complete despite getting to 100% - a message comes up that says the sync could not be completed due to an error. It's getting rather irritating and I hope someone takes notice and fixes it.
