hi everyone, yesterday, I updated my galaxy s6 edge to Android 7.0 and my battery drain fast as everyones'. I never charge it 100% event with fast charger.
does anyone help me or have any idea when it is fixed? I really don't wanna factory reset an account of my applications.
Since the most recent update my phone was working just fine intil01/03/17 @ 12 noon. It started off with callers not being able to hear me. After changing all my settings, going back to default, going into safe mode nothing worked; so today I broke down and did a factory reset... now I can't even hear other callers and they still can't hear me. I DON'T LIKE THIS UPDATE!!!

I also have the xbox menu on the bottom 1/2 inch of my phone, it makes the bottom part of my phone completely useless. I have never played xbox, never play xbox don't intend to play xbox, to say I'm beyond angry that the company has just glitched my phone without my consent is an understatement. there are usually bugs and other things i don't like about updates, i detest updates, don't fix what aint broke in my opinion, but this is really bad.

I tried changing sounds, turning it off and on at one point I just got lucky and it started to work again. I wish I could give u more than that but I have no idea how it happened. Also my phone dies so quick. While I was sleeping it went from 75 percent to dead before I woke up while I wasn't using it.
So my phone ( it's an s6 edge) its a mess since 21st of December.
It doesn't download anything.
Doesn't load the emails.
The recent button stopped working....
I have reset my phone settings...
I haven't done factory reset yet....
Please give me some advice...
Since the prior update i have had serious battery draining issues and noticed it when i had my data on. When i turned off my data (when not using my phone, and on wireless charger, or just using phone for text/calling) it's fine, it was not draining (like when i originally bought the phone) but as soon as I turn on the data, go search Facebook, battle a game on Clash of Clans, forget playing Pokemon Go! It drained massively. Always have to carry a battery block/charger with me. I made sure my phone battery was at a 100% AND sitting on my wireless charger when doing the update. It just updated, I am able to access my apps without flaw. It still seems to be going through my battery fairly fast with the data on. SHUCKS!!!! Turn your data off, it will save your battery!!!

It is really really frustrating, has anyone found a way of fixing this problem?

I'm useless but in my latest update my WiFi symbol has disappeared. however I can help you with screen rotate my 9year old found it in the settings behind a symbol called portrait you tap it and auto rotate is there on all my internet searching not once did Samsung mention this.
my screen goes sun too you will have it set on auto brightness. Xbox can't help not had that one yet had to get my 11 year old son to uninstall peel remote aswell.
They dont make these things easy do they.
Since update 19.12.17 Battery drain. 92% to 61% in an hour. Phone was red hot when I got it out of my bag..oh I have the thing on where it won't light up in your bag and use power (can't remember what it's called) no reason to be that hot. Turned location off and cooled down but battery is still draining quickly

My phone is 2 years old and not a problem. When updating ur phone make sure it's over 60% battery and it's plugged in. Phone will go tru it's update for maybe 10 mins and turn itself off. U then turn on and unlock with PIN number then allow the rest of the update carry on for another 5 or 10 mins. Always give ur phone an hour updating. If u rush it or interrupt downloading update or installing u can mess it up

My phone (galaxy s6) has not experience anything like this before the update. Im thinking that this is a Samsung Marketing Strategy. They purposely do this so we get new ones ans we cant sell the old ones because those will be useless. Im not gonna give up!!!
Updated software this morning on my S and the phone is dead. wont boot contacted Samsung did all the factory reset attempts but nothing worked for me. Collect mobile on Monday for repair
