Consta... moreFor anyone still having problems with their phone, I just want to follow up on the post I left here a couple of days ago. I've now been able to fix the problems on my Galaxy S6, and this is what I did.
I noticed that Samsung had suggest removing the SIM card from the phone, so I powered the phone off and removed it. I then cleared both the app cache and system cache. I used the guide on the following website to do this.

Follow that through step-by-step exactly as it says. First clear the cache for all apps, then do the system cache.
After the final reboot, power off the phone again and reinsert your SIM card.
My phone has now been working smoothly for 24 hours, so give it a try and see if it works for you.

Since doing the update on my S6 Edge plus 3 days ago, I have been unable to connect to the internet through my wifi (which is working perfectly for all other devices connected) and my battery life has been woeful, I use the phone as my alarm and after a night off charge (approx 6 hours) I would previously have had 40-50% battery life left, now I get the low charge warning and have 15% or less charge left!

I updated s6 today morning. It's working fine.

I made the update before 7 days and battery empty for a couple of hours, I charged it several times a day :( ... I took out the SIM card restarted it (he asked after removing the SIM) and now is not much better ( I rule out the DATA ROAMING ), maybe someone help ... I use it then a few hours and spent about 5% battery :)

Does anyone know if it's possible to roll-back to the previous firmware?

Updated my edge 7 and it freezes and crashes constantly. I wish i never updated my phone god its so annoying.

My s6 edge was updated yesterday, as from 4pm today my device has crashed, blank screen 7 won't turn on. Wish i hadn't installed the update.

Note 5 gear vr freezes now after this update today nov 2 2016. I used it lots before. It never froze. Wish i never updated.
I cleared cache and still didnt work.

The issue has just rectified itself. Having not been able to charge from mains charger all day it has suddenly started working. I'm not sure why - the phone did update some apps from Play store (including Samsung Gear) just before it started to charge again but this might just be co-incidence

I did the software update for Samsung S6 ... hours later phone screen goes black! Can hear messages and calls coming through, lights are still flashing and I can answer phone as I know where to swipe. Tried everything to reset but phone screen is just staying black. Have now been told I have lost EVERYTHING and nothing can be restored. Absolutely ridiculous that Samsung can send out a software update which has ruined so many phones by the looks of it!!
