I have been a loyal Samsung Customer for years...but I am so sick of the battery issues. Since the update my battery life has decreased rapidly and is taking much longer to charge. Why does this happen after an update? My husband has an IPhone and he constantly tells me to switch from Samsung. If the battery issue doesn't get resolved, I may have to do so.

The last 2 samsung updates to my s6 caused me a problem each time! First my text notification kept going off and would not stop. Had to power phone off til I could get it fixed. Then the current update not only locked my voice-mail requiring pass code (which I never set up) then it removes my voice mailbox all together.

Coming from Reddit, the problem lies in the Oculus App. It keeps reinstalling itself causing this huge battery drain and CPU usage. You should remove everything related to Samsung VR and any Oculus Apps.
I can't turn on my s6 edge after confirming the update, what will I do?
So not happy with this last update. Battery drains fast and absolutely no sound notification or pop-ups for new messages! Please work on a solution

Updated last night while I was sleeping, and have several issues. Battery drains super fast, takes FOREVER to charge now, freezes constantly, not receiving picture messages, some text messages and calls! So irritated with this crap alresdy!
I've just had this update too and my phone is useless! Can't open apps, menu, restart or anything. It's just a sitting brick right now! Need a roll back urgently!!
I have a Verizon S7 running on Simple Mobile. Since the update, I've only been able to connect to "E" on my data. Used to be able to connect to 3g. Anyone else having the same issue?
Did update a while back and since the update the settings is not working. Now they say I'm getting a new phone under the warranty but the new phone will only have at 90 day warranty and now I see all the other problems. To upgrade (phone is not pd off) it would be a buy out of $500+. All this because of a software update that went band!!! Very discussed with Samsung and AT & T!.
