Did the update yesterday ...WHAT A NIGHTMARE. Messaging app would shut down after opening, fingerprint security stopped working and unresponsive soft keys. I was on the phone with ATT tech support...nothing. Also on with Samsung tech support... who told me to watch a youtube video on how to wipe the cache partition......did that and got a screen that said "downloading" and stayed like that for 2 hours+ that I couldn't get out of. Went to the Samsung kiosk at Best Buy, the guy cleared the cache again. Ended up downloading a new default messaging app (mood messaging)in lieu of a factory reset to make the samsung messaging app work again.

Okay, so I got the recent update, but it shows how you could see when the other person has read your store, or when their typing. My share read test its on. But doesn't show any one help?
With this new update:
Physical buttons are unresponsive.
Google talk menu appears on screen randomly.
This needs to be fixed immediately, this was a $900 phone. I was already contemplating iphone and if this lasts, that seems like the only viable option.

I h... moreThat what happen to my son LG Stylo 2 , he did the update and after that he can't make any calls or get on the internet. I call Sprint tech support they told me to do all this things put an number all this stuff , and still didn't work . He told me to call LG and explain to them what happen , and told him I just brought this found a month ago thank god I am paying for insurance. I took it to the sprint store lets see what they tell me. This happen to my Galaxy note 4 to I ended going to sprint too, But since I had insurance they just gave me a new galaxy note 5. I won't be doing no more update again.

Haven't update my phone still running on 6.o.1 version but in facing problem
since last 2 wks, there was an update which was prompting in my S6 edge, so yesterday i've updated and now i have a display issue like high [bright] and low [dim] stripes on the screen. Baseband version changed to G925IDVU3EPH4 from G925IDVU3EPH1 with 6.0.1 Android version
Can anyone please suggest how to downgrade or should i really get going to SAMSUNG service.. its just a month old phone I bought in RT nagar Bangalore.

Since the software update which happened last Wednesday, my soft keys aren't working properly. The phone is erratic in that I can't navigate or use the apps properly, and it doesn't let me use the back key either. It's difficult and slow to text and I have to keep using the side power key to get out of it whenever the phone starts playing up. I've used a soft cloth to wipe the screen to make sure it isn't sticking but it hasn't helped. I've been told to back up everything on my phone and do a factory restore, but the problem is I can access the phone properly to be able to do it!
Since the latest update my battery doesn't stay charged either and takes forever to charge. What drives me crazy is how slow my text message is working! Takes forever to open, can't type right away and if anything else is going on, it won't do a thing. We paid way to much for these phones not to work correctly.
After the latest samsung s6 update my themes does not work and my fingerprint is also faulty. My battery runs down like crazy and i wish i was never a samsung user. This updates has happened for long and there are so many people complaining about it, yet, this crazy samsung folks wont bring an update to solve the problems. What else do u want us to say samusng. Am joining the apple family.

Since the new update, my fast charge stop working, did any one else had this problem, checked the cable and that everything is fine, got a 5pin cable still not fast charging, switched fast charging on/off, done factory setting, still the same, can any 1 help?
Since the update, my phone does not stay on silent. Which is a problem since I work in an office where you can hear a pin drop. I need my phone on in case of an emergency, but I usually keep it on vibrate, and it won't stay on that either. Hope they fix all the bugs soon.

After the last updat for Samsung galaxy S6 my phone does not work any more ! It is 6 mounth old ! My phone does not open anymore for langer then a few secondes and than restart by itself. Because the phone is constandly restarting the battery is empty withouten a few hours. I did not expected this problem with the update and so I did NOT make a Back-up of my photo's and records. The phone did not open long enough for me ....to save my photo's of my mom who passed away some time ago. I did send my phone to a data recovery shop and they were succesfull and so they saved my photo's. It costs me Â€360.00
So dear SAMSUNG can I get some money back ? I think and trust that an update would make my phone better and not destoy it......I still have to do a hard reset at the store and will hope my 6 mounth old telefone will work again.
