There are two major mobile OSes: the Android and IOS and then comes the... morewel dud the windows os is the most stable os compare to other even in windows phone, even you if you have desktop or loptop or your company are using windows, black berry os also for those people who are working in big company cause its secure when its come of security, but its depend on you what os you will choose weather windows phone, blackberry os, firefox, tizen zimbian androids ect.... it's your chose, but for me windows are the most topiest and running for a decade and almost century start dos and become windows !!!!!!

AnonD-60230, 10 May 2015Since android has less app crashes compared to iOs, android definitely isn't nowhere near crappy! I didn't know that.. I said crappy not with app crashes in mind. For me, android looks cluttered compared to iOS.

only problem is that they are treating it as google treats chrome os,smartphone shouldnt be always online thing as you wont have connection everywhere

There are two major mobile OSes: the Android and IOS and then comes the nosebleeds. Like the Winphone and Blackberry and up and coming Firefox and Tizen and old faithful like OSes like Symbian.
I hope one day that Tizen and Firefox comes to northern Europe, for me to test.
Blackberry and Windows phone OSes are close to uninteresting for me. Blackberry phones are darn too expensive and Windows Phones is too darn crappy.

It does not help that the OS does not have a big app store yet. Also that they price it at R1600 ($130). They really need to drop the price to make any impact.

I guess maybe its a good device. But I just think Mozilla are to late in the smartphone market. With Android,iOS and Windows Phone as the 3 dominating platform it must be a hard deal.
But who knows only time will tell.

I don't know how the phone works or how well it works.
All I know is that it is a touch screen phone that is extremely cheap and works well which is nice for Africa.
