Every reseller in Malaysia is selling above list price. The most logical model ZE551ML with 4G RAM and 32G ROM is in shortage.

Unfortunately, just about every vendor in Malaysia are selling above list price as above. Moreover, the model that makes the most sense, the 4G RAM plus 32G ROM one, is in great shortage. Really sounds like Asus's strategy to stir things up.

AsusP3V4X, 10 May 2015they said $200! liar go to hell! $250 wtf!Yes, the original price at the unveiling in January was $200, but this was promotion, and I didn't believe it would be quite that low. It's like a politician promise; it will always be more expensive when it finally is done. :)
Also, various countries have very different exchange rates (which change with time) so the US$ price quoted will also change a lot.

Anon, 10 May 2015Not really... our call and data lines are not diffrent but having a dual sim phone allows us t... moreFor average Indian a top range Zenfone equal to 3-6 months wages, India rank 153 spot in Income per capital, almost at bottom of the list, unless Indian can quadruple their income per capital in 2 year times, as at now their purchase power is still considered weak, only reason smartphone selling well due to large population, too bad mostly low income population, smartphone selling well in India mostly cheap entry model not flagship, so that's is good for nothing.
