i dont get how the mother company accept this variation in service provided by each regional Samsung office!! few days ago it was the note2 now its note8.0... had it been all over the world that note2 isnt lollipop ready, i would have accepted that fact.. but some regions get it and some dont!

Samsung needs to explain!

Samsung is the worst company never will buy another Samsung product again have been a fool to buy a galaxy note 8.0 hoping they will update a high end device but no they just want you to buy the highest most expensive model if you wish to get an update. since 2013 Samsung India has not updated the galaxy note 8.0 from the useless 4.2.2 Thanks a lot Samsung wishing and hoping that you go bust soon just like sony has

Updates for Arab regions are the hardest ones to make, combined with a fairly low customer base, Saudi is a big country but sparse population, the other countries are almost mini states and aren't Samsung strongholds.

too bad for Samsung owners, once again, you get screwed for the updates. Since kitkat 4.4 (last update available for NOte 2 and 8) came out on june 2014, it means that the note 2 had less than 2 years of "updates and support" while the Note 8 had barely over 1 year of "updates and support".

Funny enough, the Note 8.0 is still very capable and still better in performance than some of their lower-mid range current range (any of the Tab 4's). Still waiting for the true successor to the Note 8 with the stylus pen
