Between the two Chinese made phones, Apple and Xiaomi, I'd rather take Xiaomi since it has better specs and doesn't suffer from browser and app reloads due to insufficient DRAM on iPhone.

It is down to marketing and perception so Xiaomi deserters will have a plong time to think on the overspend.
Not intimidated by the iPhone6 nor shallow enough to assume that there is kudos in owning one or that peeple are JEALOUS.
The BIG BIG question is in October 2015 and what f any improvements Apple come up with now Samsung has shown Apple how to make REAL "iPhones" that have HIGH specifications.
8MP Camera / DUAL CORE / 1Gb Ram will it be this configuration again???
