But...if LG sai... morethe 810 just performs horribly, so it's easier for the 808 to do better than its big bro...
I've seen a roundup between 805, 808 and 810.
Not taking into account the "slow" A53 cores it showed this:
-the 805 can stay @2,5GHz for at least 5 minutes, then it throttle down but it always keep up 2,1-2,2GHz... neat!
-the 808 cores throttle immediately and range between 1,1GHz and 1,6 GHz, with so many ups and downs... average speed is around 1,3GHz.
-810, the cores throttle immediately, ranging from 900 to 1,2 GHz and at some points, handing over the tasks to the A53 cores, kind of a relay race... xiaomi said they improved 810 performance by adding heatspreaders, but until I find a detailed review on that matter I'd assume 810 is still cr*p.
I'd agree. Moto has a small but strong device portfolio ever since Google acquired it.

Motorola and Lenovo make up the third best selling smartphone OEM. The moto x, nexus 6, and droid turbo are all amazing devices. Motorola is far from over.
plzz motorola wait for snapdragon 818
Motorola belongs to history.
They were good in flip phone era..Startac , RAZR. Since smartphones are popular, they are behind even the Chinese brands.
Sad but it's the truth, their phones are bad.

Yeah, I guess it has to have stereo front facing speakers also. It's not the number one feature to me, though it would be the cherry on the cake. But it is ridiculous that both the Nexus 6 and the Moto G have stereo front facing speakers, but not the current Moto X. How can you flagship phone be outclassed by your mid-range phone and something derivative of your flagship that you made for someone else?
If it has OIS that will address the one major shortcoming of the 2014 Moto X, for me. In this era, it also really has to have at least 3 GB RAM. Now I hope they keep the current design. The current design, to me, is one of the best any smartphone has had. I hate it when manufacturer's hit on a great design and then change it later, purely for the appearance of something new, but end up with something worse. (For example, the first HTC One design was amazing, the M8 and M9 are okay, but not nearly as nice.)
This will make my mobile phone photos more stable.

If they give the Moto G 2015 a 1080p screen,16gb onboard storage,2gb of ram,and SD615 It would be a great back-up phone. (it would also be rivaling the moto X 2014)
stereo speakers...something the moto X 2014 should have had.

All Motorola has to do is bring their Hi-Fi speakers from the Nexus6 to the Moto X 2015, then we will have the perfect android phone. I hope that 16mp cam is wide angled and is F1.9 0r better. thier camera software is catching up after all this time. (Should have always been nexus, tho lg got most of it right.)
how is the snapdragon 808 "energy efficient"??
it does fare better than 810 but that doesn't imply we can give it a passing grade in emergy efficiency...
tests showed that the 2 A57 cores can't go past 1400MHz, 30% less than the designed frequency...
