The PC will evolve to either being a gaming machine or a professional/content creating machine. Its time as media consumption machine is getting close to the end.

Then, a tablet will make perfect sense again. Smartphone> out and about; tablet> at home on the couch; PC> on the desk.

Tablets really have been useless for me, I'd rather watch youtube and other media on my PC when I'm stationary which is when I'm using my tablet and watch media on my phone when I'm out and about. My ipad has been collecting dust for months now.

[deleted post]Thats rude of you.but still the device has to be better than it is to compete with the smartphone market and be something relevant in life.Consumers are now getting wiser/smarter since they would have more options to choose from for a tablet.
