T... moreThis is obviously a comment by someone that don't understand how big.LITTLE works, and didn't understand how the tricluster works. There isn't a time when more than 4 cores are active at the same time.

Intel knows how to produce processors, Apple doesn't.

John, read the article, can't you?

Mediatek said it won't run 10 cores simultaneously, the two A72 will only run at heavy load.

Absolutely crazy. Not a single application nowadays uses all 4 cores of a SOC, let alone 10. This will destroy the battery life. I'd rather see Mediatek create 4 (or maybe 8) very powerful cores than to see this joke

Woopie, tri-cluster... With two identical clusters, apart from the clockspeed and the hi-performance cluster only has two cores. (And an integrated 11th M4 core.)
                                        Go home Huawei, you're drunk.

                                        (What we need is a SoC with a high-performance cluster, e.g. 4x A72 and a high-efficient cluster, e.g. 2x A53, on a 16 or 14nm finfet, HMP enabled (at least on cluster level) and a high-performance GPU (so no adreno 418 BS or a Mali400MP2/MP4).
