This update decreased my battery life significantly since before the update my battery lasted 36 hours with minimum activity and now lasts only 12 hours with minimum activity.

I think it resolved the memory leak problem atleast in middle east.

Got the update while I was reading this post yesterday. Fantastic timing.

Got the update here in Thailand yesterday May 12. Ram used was 84% before this update. After update, Ram used are now 84% after reboot - decline to 78% a few minute after re start the phone. Not much of improvement. I already tweaked all I can, so only a minimum of apps are running. Ram used: 1,5GB, Cashed: 626MB, Free: 522MB.
One Drive was disabled by me, but always wake up and waste lots of ram. Google Play, haven't used it in 2 days, still it waste lots of ram (even not connected to internet). Again I disable/stop both these apps, and now available Ram is 1,1 GB, (only for a few minutes).
Samsung: you need to do much better than this. No reason for One Drive and Google Play / Google App to be running, and waste precious amount of Ram.

Samsung UK on the order receipt. Either way would be nice to know the eta of the release.
All in all impressed with the phone and not experiencing any issues, probably because I reboot every day or two like I did with my 4s. But would be nice to be up to date with patches.

(phone bought direct... moreIt's highly unlikely you bought the phone directly from Samsung, they always use subsidiaries, even for unlocked phones. These subsidiaries are probably the cause for the delay.
