I hope the Z4 will have the specs that have been rumored, ie, 4.7" 1020 HD display, octa-core processor, 3 gb ram and 16/32 gb storage. If it does, it will be a strong contender.

hope this comes to international. there was some issues with the Z3c's back glass shattering noh. this seems pretty much the same phone without the glass back, which imo is a plus. wonder if this is waterproof and if you can get this carrier unlocked. hmm..

AnonD-356176, 13 May 2015Z3C uses 805, so this is a downgrade, therefore not the Z4C.No it doesn't, Z3C shares the same SOC as Z3, the snapdraggon 801

in unrelated news, I wonder if it's still waterproof?

Sony, please DO NOT use the same display as in the Z3C. That one was awful. The 720p resolution is allright, but the quality was really bad. And change the friggin camera allready! High resolution, low quality.

The Z4 Compact will spec way better than the A4. Recalling from last year the A2 has the same spec as the Z1 Compact. So I think the new Z4 Compact will get the SP 810 SoC and 2GB RAM and a 4.7" 1080 FHD display.

This is NOT xperia Z4C. Xperia A2 was Z1 compact launched for a specific carrier. Xperia A4 is Z3 compact launched for a specific carrier. Was Xperia A2 a Z3 compact in disguise? NO. Similarly, Xperia A4 is not Xperia Z4 compact in disguise. Xperia Z3C was different from Xperia A2. Same applies here

This just makes the Z3 compact look better getting rid of the best quality, glass on the back. Most people hate that but I love it, makes it feel much more premium and yes fragile. Z3C style looks old but it is refined and simplified sans volume/unlock. Like a modern iPhone 4.
