Duh it's cheaper. It better be.
The G4 is uses overall cheaper and least advanced hardware. Lots being last gen and second hand.
The only home brewed updates tech is the display and camera... Which are nice.
The S6 has a lot more money in research and development. Uses more expensive and advanced parts that are mostly home brewed. Puts way more into advertisement. And comes with good headphones and the quick charger out of box.

I rather spend more money first time than regretting it for two years. LG G4 is old fashion in competition. With 6 mnths it's gonna be far far away than new gen phones like metal or glass and you loose more value than what you gain now.

The S6 was charging $50 more than last year, this phone is priced normally AKA no discount other than the discounted specifications.
