There is an identical video on samsung s6 edge. It's perhaps even more fragile, the back cracks up too. Glass breaks folks, 2015 top phone or not.

Second: how is this news?First: It's special because the G2 and G3 wouldn't work after the screen shattered, forcing you to change the screen immediately after it cracked. Very big disadvantage.

For almost all flagships from 2014 the screen works after it shatters.
LG said that its more durable than other phones. Still it cracked this making the curved screen just a gimmick.

Shattered screen still works? Even an 5 years old Apple iPhone 4 and Samsung Galaxy S can do this.
GSMArena, you guys need to learn this. Newer smartphones come with non-functional top protective glass on top of a touch-enabled LCD screen. That's say, even without the top glass the phone LCD still working fine and able to do all the functions come with the phone.
Tablets top touch-enabled glass is different story though.

Shattered screen in just two minor drops, is this a flagship phone? Even if it still works (after the screen is shattered), who would use a phone with shattered screen anyway?

This video doesn't explain a thing. Having a cracked glass vs a cracked digitizer and LCD are two different things. The glass can be falling off but if the digitizer still works, the phone is still somewhat usable.
It could be any phone with a cracked glass, doesn't prove the G4 is any more durable in comparison to other devices.
