HTC butterfly 2 didn't have black bars, so I don't understand why this one does.

Why the hell are these black bars for? It's absolutely ridiculous. And if the phone is that big, how come HTC did not give the phone a bigger battery? What, they don't want to make a perfect phone so people wouldn't buy other phones?
      Ridiculous!

Anonymous, 14 May 2015Holy bezels Batman!I am tired complaining of HTC clinging to their black logo bar and huge bezels and not having Huge batteries on their top devices. When ever they finally decide to do a course correction...i will give their devices consideration. Till then i am off to a date with LG G4.

Impressive, except for the humungous size.

Need more battery.I can get a Moto x which is arguably more stylish if i had to sacrifice battery.

Is that new speaker grille design, edge-to-edge? Kinda weird IMO.

I have just started getting into HTC again and think they are pretty good. I like sense more than Touchwizz and LCD more than SuperAMOLED. Spent too long with Sammy and Apple and now enjoying HTC . Never thought I would ever get fed up with SuperAMOLED though. Audio is top class,1080p screen is crystal clear.

I was going to get the Butterfly 2 and it is available sim free in UK but no-one has one to talk to about it and could not get info if APN settings were available.

Is that black bar on bottom is intentionally put there by HTC so user can put their own logo? :D :D

This is crazy. I know HTC is crazy sometimes but this is just beyond crazy, lol.

HTC J Butterfly. that released along with the first butterfly in Japan. so, why the same name is repeated? this has to be butterfly 3. secondly, why not make the screen dual (ordinary and 3d) you already have 2 camera's which can shoot in 3d. third this is, why not change the sense totally in japan? like sense 4+ with carousel swiping. sense 5,6,7 bores me to death.

You can use this one. KDDI officially had announced sim-unlocking program starting from May this year.

Why it has the black bar on top of the bottom bezel. It look crazy since htc one series has compound speaker on top and bottom. Just move the htc logo to the bottom bezel, it will look awesome and I will update to butterfly 3.
