I don't know about you guys,but i personally think that this would raise up alot of hype.More than any of htc's or the nokia n97.From the feel of the thing,it has the x-factor that the iphone had.

but Droid got no radio, no video call camera, no internal memory, old 5MP camera with HD recording, but no 5.1 channel surround sound!??

Motorola have a better announcement...Milestone/Droid is still better...
Why?
Because it features qwerty keyboard..Android 2.0 and it will be avaiable sooner at much cheap price...
X10 is also excellent...but NO QWERTY n android 1.6...and late release......thts bad.

well the interface is awsome, but VERY laggy even for the pre-production model (just look at how fast early builds of HD2 performed) and no OLED and old ordinary stereo speakers without internal mass(ive) memory, quite SUX!!!
just look at i8910 HD, it will get Dolby 5.1 channel Surround Sound through it's internal speakers (this time) with the next update due out in a few weeks!!!
but then again instead of being a Pocket computer, i8910 HD is being treated by Samsung as a mini HDTV lol lol
sooooooo, HTC HD2 lacks video call and TV-out, OLED, small battery, digital compass(i think), unique UI (but has very usable one) and has ordinary 5MP camera...
SE Xperia X10 lacks TV-out, and OLED, massive RAM, and inbuild memory,.. laggy UI(at the moment)
i8910 HD - awsome hardware, but unusable UI and OS??...
r companies doin this on purpose?????????

anthony, 03 Nov 2009i highly Doubt LG or Samsung will come out with something close to this phone before it is rel... moreI doubt this will be released before march 2010...after all SE's first android. I'm pretty sure Samsung will have their 1Ghz hitting the stores before X10. That might not have the great look of X10 though.

first I thought it will be a great phone. the CPU spec, the camera and video, all look promising..
but I'm little bit worry on how SE will costumize this phone, the UI, the OS version, etc because they aren't experiencing enough and remember this is their first android phone.
after looking the video UI I think we might got some point here, it's not near spectacular, but given time who knows what it'll become.
On the OS version, I'm a bit surprised that SE X10 will run on v1.6 donut, while my HTC Hero now running on 1.5 but HTC has confirmed that they will upgrade it to v2.0 eclair.
Between 1.5 and 1.6 not too much difference really. but on v2.0 you can have better camera perfomance (ok maybe SE X10 doesn't need it), blue tooth file transfer, flash browser, and google real time map, among other thing. So.. figure out yourself. I think SE would have been outrageous if this SE X10 can't be upgrade on v2.0 eclair.
last and maybe least as well (not many think so anyway :)) is no support for multitouch.
I guess I'm happy with my humble HTC Hero.

I see it does have a 3.5mm jack. I will retract my previous comments that I hate this phone, because I thought it did not have a 3.5mm jack. Now Sony can start competing with the Iphone, Samsung and LG. But I still stand by my belief that any middle to high end phone without a 3.5mm jack should never ever be bought by anyone with half a brain.

Its just announced, so what it has only 1.6 Donut for... I think thats why they made the release date in Q1... this way, it'll give them time to PUT the 2.0 software on the phone, as well as tweek anythin else to make sure the phone is as perfect as possible on it release day. but who knows, they might push it up just in time for Xmas

First of.. its a FREAKING PHONE.. enough with wanting EVERYTHING on a phone.. come on people.. this real life, not movies.. Compared to what kinda phones will be out in the fture, the Xperia 10 is a great start.. for an ANDROID phone.. remember when it was just the G1.. which came out LESS THAN 1year ago??

this is my dream phone,snap dragon cpu is very fast,8megapixel is good,and cristal clear display 4.1'' 854x480,and 1gb internal memory is enough,because thre so many micro sd 32gb out there
