dude... SE never meets their deadline... look at X2. The phone will probably come out by the end of 2010 (in time for next Christmas).

mobilemaster, why is this phone better than Samsung HD??? it lacks just about everything (HD camcorder, AMOLED display, 16 million colors, 16GB internal memory, better DNSE 2.0 sound, no native DivxHD support, no digital compass, no TV-out or DLNA,....) and what does Xperia X10 has over i8910 HD (higher resolution but a bigger screen, which means not as sharp as say X1 with pretty much same resolution but MUCH smaller screen, and ofcourse that pretty BLUE UI that I fell in love with,... till i noticed that it's completely unusable)????
please explain yourself!@!!..

I can live with se's 256k color... 256 Mb RAM, I think it's enough, sure 512 will b better.... 1gb internal memory, yeach it should have 4gb at minimum.. But 1gb + 8gb in the box are not bad at all.... Expensive? If you can afford, nothings expensive........
Good work SE!!! Hope u will make exelent midphone too, so i can afford he he,,, for you who have just complain n complain, are you jelous?

What SE have done is rise from the almost dead and woken up to the smell of Android, whilst not on the 2.0 eclair OS, this is a huge huge leap from the dull days of the XPERIA X1. Love 'em or hate 'em, they've stuck in there with the array of new fresh models coming out.

You two are undestimating the screen colour. I mean it's not the best, however I can live with that.
What about browsing net, opening apps, playing videos.. they all gonna need higher cpu otherwise it lags. Got it?
Samsung spica?? Lol.. samsung is mediokre when you're talking winmo and adroid phones, they are defeated by HTC. maybe their symbian phones better.
Andno hardware support you mean 256MB Ram? even my window xp desktop has only 256mb and it running ok.

Only 1 gb of internal storage are they this & stupid whats wrong with manufactures that make android phones, 4gb is the minimum any smartphone should have, what a disappointment. I was definitely going to buy this phone but now I am not sure, might wait to see what other Android phones Sony Ericcson release in the 1st quarter.

How many phones will come with Android 2.0 apart from Moto? Moto and Goodel sit in the same building, they probably got Android 2.0 SDK before it was released. Moto Google, I scratch your back, you scratch mine ...

ABout HD, there is a negative thing, and the internal storage too, but you can put a lot of things on that 1GB storage.In the box you will get an 8Gb Memory card, so you will have 9Gb. About Android, what is the problem, it's a GOOD OS, better than Windows Mobile. Believe me, the phone is better than Samsung HD, or Nokia N97, or even Samsung Omnia 2.

[deleted post]16000 colours, what happened with you? It has 16 Million colours, go to the SE's webpage to see. About HD, yes it is a mistake too. ABout 1GB internal memory I said too is not good, but is not too small, even Samsung put 1GB on their Omnia phone. Look at the specs of all Omnia, there is a phone with 1GB internal storage. Lg made phones too with 1GB internal memory. Oled is not neccesary, on sunlight is NOT good at all. I know this for sure. 2 dissapointments, HD, and the internal memory. But look at the X1, has only 110Mb, this has much more. On 1GB you can put lot of things, and you will get an 8GB Memory card on the box. So in total is 9Gb, if you will buy the phone, and you can put 32GB of Memory card, not 16Gb. If the Satio support 32GB of Memory card, this can support too.

Running a HERO at the mo. the snapdragon has my attentin on this. bad move on the late release. i think i might just have to it any way. you sony reps better be packing one of these when you next come round to our store.
