If HTC really wants to do good in India they need to understand the market. Market here in India is quite different and cant be compared to US or China. People here wants best in look/quality and cheap in price. Mainly cheap in price. Most of the high end phones of HTC are quite costly. If in the same range they can buy Iphones (which also adds status/tashan to their profile)why the hell will they buy HTC.So HTC you need to understand indian mentality.Learn from Samsung why they are still doing good. Learn from Xiaomi/Micromax what was the reason for their fast market penetration.
In the end, HTC phones are awesome the problem is price tag.Hope you will understand

htc after sales is the worst i have experienced. i gave my faulty htc m8 for repairs in the month of march 2015 and received a replacement phone after 3 months in may. such a gorgeous phone but poor customer care relieves me of getting htc products in future....

ithehappy, 15 May 2015People use OneMinus One here, or Xiaomi products here nowadays, by people I mean the backward ... moreHave you ever used OnePlus One? No, I think. I am a Note 4 user and my best friend has OnePlus One and trust me, there is no notable difference in the performance of the two. I don't know about Xiaomi though. Never complain about anything that you have never used. And I think you are more backward with no brain, complaining about us Indians when the main problem is with you, whining here.

To be honest, HTC sucks now , I m an old HTC user , but seriously they are no good now , they don't give back customer satisfaction, though he/she had paid so high price to their products

People use OneMinus One here, or Xiaomi products here nowadays, by people I mean the backward people obviously, with no brains. Then there is the hatred for Samsung products. Then there is a love for LG products, yet the price point is more or less same for, and LG is an inferior brand in comparison to any and everything. Specs matter here, you sell SD810 here, get an old Sony sensor and put it in a phone, assemble it yourself, and keep the price low, people will buy it here, as much as I am proud as an Indian, this is what's going on in this country. This is a fact, however unfortunate that might seem.

By having a lot of money won't make you rich, until and unless your brain has the capability to understand the difference between Apples and Oranges.

So this HTC phone won't sell here well. Yeah the phone has a poor camera (in 2015 standard), but still, people here use OneMinus One, so there you go. Only way HTC will be able to sell this here by cutting its price in half or so, as a large brand HTC won't and can't do that, so there you go for sales.
