gs6 is an excellent device as most other flagships are and even better..that is sure..the reason behind low sales is that market is saturated..and its too expensive..i have a 2-year old lg g2 that is still running superfast and run most games.. why change it? and pay 700 dollars its nonsense
In looking for clues why the S6 is not selling as well as the S5 then note that the user replaceable battery and sdcard was dropped. Hopefully the Note 5 doesn't make that mistake.
nobody wants s6. I mean how many phone does a person need. Every year new flagships are coming through... It's really irritating. The days of nokia N series was best. Give people some time, atleast 2-3 years to enjoy their flagship
hahahaha.. sammy fans! keep defending samsung for no reason. comments are interesting read :)
btw.. I am switching over to samsung this oct (from an iPhone 4s).. to a note 5 if it has replaceable battery.. else note 4 takes my money. I dont care which brand my phone is.. if its fast enough.. feature packed.. expandable memory and a battery that is repleacable, my day is made!
Korea marker is oversaturated of smartphones, thats why sales are slow. Samsung Galaxy6 EDGE version is the TOP seller here. Unique device worldwide. THe best in the planet
I think S6 is the best phone made by SAMSUNG ever, why not breaking records ? maybe Market become more diversified year after year.. and mostly because the price range !! it's very expansive !! noadays, middle range smartphone are better in terme of price-to-range ratio !
Is it just me? I really think that the non-edge version is ugly as hell! and i hate the white SAMSUNG logo at the top... also the button looks weird... its just not right...
[deleted post]thank you for this update...
heard that G4 primary camera the best so far...
but I prefer metal glass

the reason for this is the MicroSD card and Removable two batteries for the G4
Perhaps Samsung is it's own worst enemy in this. With the multitude of phones they produce - including the Note and A3-8 Series - consumers who REALLY want a removable battery and SD card can just port to those phones.
Sammy, you can't have it all. Make up your mind who you want to market to...

Majority of people want edgy one...and if Samsung could just lower the pricin of edge then things may change...
Samsung were smart that they signed a contract with Marvel Studio that they both will work together in Samsung marketing to help boost Samsung devices selling....
Concerning of S6 Edge mass production, it takes some time to meet the demand. I think more factory production lines are needed. It takes quite some time for a S6 to be shipped because Samsung is a very strict company...lots of assembling and inspections to be applied...
Let us hope that they also mass produce Avengers Themed S6 Edge..

It's a great phone. I am loving it. Using it for the past one month.
Last time 40% of Galaxy S5's were in storehouses.
Samsung is well know when it comes to hyping unnecessarily with fake numbers. (benchmark cheating, Sales numbers skewed etc.)
AnonD-365011, 19 May 2015S6 are not doing much better than S5, which I am very surprised.
but that is not the end of... moreThat's the problem. S6 Edge killed S6 itself. People wants more S6 Edge than S6 and the production for S6 Edge is not as productive as S6.
But, not worth comparing with S5 because S5 meant for initial sales only. Whereas people wants S6 Edge but either can't afford and waiting for price drop or don't have storage options or colour options.
Nevertheless, S6/S6 Edge will continue to sell within the same amount of 8 to 10mn irrespective of 1st month of 6th month.
well, although shipped =/= sold, in the end the OEM got their money so why do we really make this observation? and it would be really hard to calculate the real number of "sold" pieces since many are bought for re-sale anyway.
there is also another reason (not sure it affects much, but it does affect the numbers) which is availability (there are many stores "sold out") and colors. there are markets where it started selling later and there are many users I would bet who are waiting for the blue/green ones. we could also add to this the ppl who want the more exclusive Avengers model.
and...there is always the price (which is a lot more than it was for the older S models) :)
