Fail? No Android hasn't failed at all and neither has their devices, you read specs? Obviously not or you would know that Apple is ALWAYS behind as far as specs go on handheld and wrist wear devices. Besides failure in your book is very unclear and because making millions possibly billions on a device is failure? Wow nice to meet you Mr. Richest dude EVER!

Does it make sense to have a watch ? Apple like all the Andriod devices will fail, and fail miserably . Imagine, having a 4.7in screen with beautiful apps to operate, videos, music etc... and then asking people to buy a USD400 device that is the size of a coin to operate it. Silly people.

                            Boycott

It is up to us to show lg we are not "dormant". On the contrary, we need to be wide-awake to show these companies consumers do matter and it's their money that supports large multinationals, such as lg.

We have to put an end to planned obsolescence which, as this case clearly demonstrates, work bests when the producer has at least an oligopoly, or the producer he knows that the consumer is at least somewhat likely to buy a replacement from them.

                            Don't!
                            Let's boycott lg.
It is our money. It is our choice.
                            Don't prove them right.

It is a shame the LG R was announced, sold (and paid for) as a WiFi capable watch (you can easily watch it on the web, or via youtube) and now it has been described as "dormant", "non-certified" and other lies in order to promote the urbane.
This is a typical case of planned obsolescence: lg knows that the consumer is at least somewhat likely to buy a replacement from them.
It is up to us, consumers to resist and fight back.
At the end of the day, it's our money and our decision.
