Silly bug got in to my "z1 compact". I'm listening flac audio files, ever since i had it as well as few mp3 files, but after lolipop update mp3 files somehow jumps to max Volume and equalizer switches off while listening, then skip the song and if next song is flac file it gets back to normal volume and turns on equalizer.

Two major changes need to be addressed...
1> the charging time had slowed down since upgrade from kitkat to 5.0.2.
2> the loudspeaker volume had been diminished a bit compared to kitkat.
...Hope SONY rectifies the same in future updates for Z1c.
Otherwise Lollipop 5.0.2 is doing fine...

I updated my Z1 to the official Lollipop update a week ago, and now its stuck with a blank (yet black) screen, with only the notification icons showing.

It should be asking me for my unlock code, but nothing shows.

Yet taking a screenshot works, and holding the power button shows the switch off menu.

I can even activate the camera using the dedicated camera button.

Can anyone help me out? cuz I can't connect and mount it to a computer and reinstall the software without unlocking it first, which I can't do, as it doesn't even let me input my code.

I'd be grateful if anyone could help me out. Locking me out of my own phone, what's next sony?

Good job Sony, they are doing pretty well with support, even for older devices.

Xperia Z1 Battery is draining faster after Lollipop update even in Stamina mode. I think factory reset is not the correct solution, Sony should release a fix.

                                        useless updates for z1 compact

                                        1. everytime i get off a call the notif bar just comes down automatically. i have to pull it back up to use the phone again

                                        2. the loudspeaker and mic for calls is still SO soft. The loudspeaker is perfectly loud when listening to media.

Sony doesnt even respond to customers and then they give useless updates.
Not to mention my phone has become slower since Lollipop. It was so quick with Kitkat
