After I update my Xperia Z C6603 to Lollipop my microphone is not working. During the call I hear the other side, but no one can hear me. Any suggestions? Please help!

chai tobias, 31 Dec 2015just do "reset factory setting"! everything will fall in to place:) goodluck!I have the same issue after updated to lollipop battery drains fast from 90 to 1% and phone gets hot while charging i love my Z1 and donr want to give up on it. Someone said reset factor settings and everything will be fine... HOW TO DO THAT EXPLAIN PLZ????
I cant go out and use phone my phone and battery runs out cant carry power bank all the time.

sony is hearing us shouting and screaming from their horrible update without taking any necessary action. i don't know what they are waiting for. a very simple update can fix most of these issues mentioned here. how sony wants to be a giant mobile manufacturer if they are not taking care from their software updates and even not taking care about their customer complaints. i upgraded my phone to lollipop, after that my phone become fully muted. no sound is coming at all, sometimes it works and sometimes it stops, and now it is not working absolutely. the notification center curtain is not pulled down in the idle mode, while it works only when the display is locked. i don't know how long i will have to wait for sony to take the action. SHAME.

same problem with me. also the notification center curtain is not pulling down at all except when the display is locked. i try to fix it from the sony companion and from the sony bridge for mac several times , but the problem remained the same.

For everybody who got bad camera quality, I suggest you all to try camera fv-5 and see if there is any difference, because the camera app from sony is getting worse for my xperia z1.

I'm having issues with volume control. I get intermittent notification sounds but no ringtone. Its currently on the lowest volume setting but I can't increase the volume however I can switch to vibrate or total silent mode.

I have a BIG problem after upgrading to Lollipop 5.1.1 in my Z1 Compact
Here are the problems:
- My whole phonebook is gone. I cannot even add new contacts. It hangs when I try to reimport from phone memory or SD Card or SIM card
- When I receive calls, I can't hear the other party and neither can the other party hear me.
- I cannot open my SMS messages though I can still receive messages, yes, it hangs too.
- My Whatsapp messages do not have any notification sound even though I have set the volume to maximum.
