I do hope that none of the Asian companies buy blackberry. It will only serve to send info to the Chinese an Korean government!

Most logical OS and best hardware for serious mobile productivity. Then there is the wealth of patents. Already great apps for business. Still has to win over consumers from the other platforms by offering unique high quality services. Most of the apps on the two major platforms are junk so BlackBerry has to standout by offering only quality apps/services as they already do with their OS and hardware.

While I'm pretty sure none of this is true what would be interesting is if Nokia could somehow find the capital to buy blackberry or some type of merger. The technologies and patents shared between these two companies would really be a force on its own...

No way. BlackBerry you cant get sold neither to these cheap chinese companies nor to Microsoft. You should stand up. You have your own native OS. Its unique. You have QNX technology. Come on do something different and wonderful.

If microsoft buy blackberry, they have a chance to fight android and ios and maybe samsung too but in enterprise seqment. Everyone know that in this seqment blackberry is the winner.
Let we see it is a real news or it is just a bullshit.

A Microsoft and BlackBerry collaboration could be a good match for enterprise use. A reinvention of the work briefcase for the digital age.

                          Microsoft didnt destroy Nokia.

Nokia did this to themselves. They were on the decline and they thought by saving a few dollars on fixed focus cameras (read Nokia X7 etc) and resistive touchscreen (5800) they could get earn a fortune in revenue.

Abandoning symbian outright was their mistake. should have continued with symbian and WP. Elop lent helped them (burning platform memo) to sink fast. a barrage of 512 mb ram devices like 630/635 to prove what? Nokia X series another stupidity from Nokia. They reduced their survival chances from slim to zero.

Nokia are misers and good they have quit making phones

Microsoft is not going to buy Blackberry and has absolutely no interest in it. They've already said this before. When are tech blogs going to stop posting Digitimes rumors. They are laughable and always wrong. Buying Blackberry would be akin to flushing money down the toilet. They offer nothing of value to Microsoft.

Blackberry is Revived and is going good. CEO John Chen will never sold Blackberry to Chinese tech companies, ofcourse the Canadian Govt approval will also be considered for this.
