thenerd, 23 May 2015yes, because Samsung owns Android right? NO. Google owns it. Samsung denied them first. Then went back to re-sign the contract from android costing them about millions of dollars for the damage they have done to the developers.

thenerd, 23 May 2015yes, because Samsung owns Android right? No because Androids get update all the time, while Samsung doesn't support their devices with the latest android os. The problem IS Samsung, NOT android. You bought the Note 2 only 2 years ago? Too bad, you are not getting lollipop.

Android devices sometimes don't get the newest updates. Apple devices get the newest updates but with horrible performance. It's just their way to say: "Time to upgrade!".

My iPhone 5 went from iOS6-7-8 without a single hitch. Performance was the same. What are you getting at, I ask? How would you even know?
My friend's Nexus 5 went to lollipop and introduced more incompatibilities than anything beneficial.

I'm not sure what you're getting at. iOS and MacOS have always been pretty "close" but why do you think iPhone 5S introduced a 64bit processor to fall in line with OSX hardware and software?!
